This is anecdotal, because it’s my personal experience. Two of my sisters bought the XS Max shortly after release (they both had the 7+ at the time. Earlier this year, I bought the X and the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular and an iPad Pro (I previously owned the 6+ and iPad Air 2). I just bought my girlfriend the same

At this point the smart phone market has peaked. There are only so many features you can cram in a handheld device. Sure you can improve the guts of the device but how many of your average consumers actually care about those things? I think the days of wow factor are over for the smart phone market and all we are going

My apologies for the length of this. I wanted to e-mail it to you but since I can’t find your e-mail address:

white people won’t be happy until all media is just grey lumps of clay with their five pre-approved “non-offensive” words.

If they owe her all that money, why not make her earn it? Move her to the 2am timeslot and force her to do her show live. Rename the show “NBC News Jail with Megyn Kelly” and when she goes totally nuts because no guests will appear on her show they’ll have cause to fire her without severance.

“I have some quibbles with Rowling’s world building—how does magic work, exactly?”

Both were very good, actually. The entire casino sequence is one of the best things in all of Star Wars. Nothing else in the core parts of the franchise really touches on the things it talks about.

“Arachnophobia is one of those movies that gets scarier the less you remember it. Because you want  to forget. Because it’s giant spiders”

You have no idea the levels of fuckery it takes to make me side with the Fucking Eagles, but by god, Donny Boy has done it.

I can’t find any words to say other than well done, The Americans. I give you a standing ovation. You deserve every award.

I liked having Maul in the film. It was done just right - not too much of him. I had to explain his back story to my friends that hadn’t watch Clone Wars or Rebels. They were very surprised to see him show up.

Disagree in part. She is annoying, but she creates an interesting moral dilemma for them in the future.

My advice to people is almost always that when it comes to producing professional works, consistency matters more than particular choice. There are expected standards, but nothing craters the apparent quality of a written work like inconsistently-applied rules.

Part of my job is reading/editing stuff from my other team members. I’m an old, meaning I learned to type on a typewriter that works just fine without electricity. So I’m a two-spacer. Mostly. Most of my younger colleagues are one-spacers. Mostly.

Beyond was astoundingly awesome. Great stand-alone movie that did not rely upon nostalgia, fantastic set pieces, and better banter than I was expecting. My only gripe was them giving away the Beastie Boys in the teaser trailer.

“I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific!”

I’m certainly not suggesting you “scam” people by saying you can’t do anything ever. My script is more for when the distractions have become a serious problem and you need to draw the line (also, the cable guy thing is obviously a joke...). But as you said, the point is that it’s important to plan things out just as

Man, Carol Channing looks really good for 97!

Same — thought it was at best decent, but the strong pushback and lengthy thoughts on the releast process from many critics seems.. out of proportion. I wonder if some of them are worried about having less of an influential voice if direct-to-streaming becomes more common.

Yes, but this was all predicted centuries ago by Milo Rambaldi, who actually designed the particle accelerator after he had a series of visions of the future caused by the Cloverfield particle accelerator.
