Unless something has changed recently...you’re sacrificing a lot of performance and app selection going with Fire tablets. And “retina” displays are way better for reading. Which is why Amazon went that way with their e-readers. Fire tablets are decent portable video devices.

I asked a TSA agent in NY if my WA EDL license was compliant and was told no. So hopefully TSA agents get some more training before the deadline. Not true. My last company required 4 long-haul flights in the last year before you could even ASK for VP approval for business class. Guess how often that VP approval actually happened? Hell, most first line managers won’t even run it up the flagpole as it still comes out of their budget.

I disagree. Getting impeached would fit into his whole victimhood narrative and give conservative media months of talking points with daily talking points to fill up hours on Fox news and talk radio. I agree and I think one of the more satisfying endings would by Varys implementing some sort of representative rule after the main players off each other. But I don’t think that’s where they are heading with this.

I look at the star distribution. So a good product will have decreasing numbers of low star ratings. If there’s a large spike of 1-Star reviews then I’ll pay attention. And you can usually see that maybe there was a problem at one time but got corrected or the product or service used to be good but now it’s not.

Duma Key was pretty good. Not sure why but you don’t hear it mentioned much in these kind of discussions.

Good news...I was starting to wonder if this wasn’t a go but saw some Nielsen numbers that suggested it was probably OK for a second season. I actually thought the pacing was just about right for this show. I think shaving 3 episodes off the typical 13 helped move things along.
