I think we’re getting Captain America: Cold War in phase 4. This kind of talk strongly hints at it. Here’s hoping because that would be awesome.

There were lots of reports cable companies were over compressing the image (or rather they do that all the time and it was very noticeable last night). Looked pretty good on HBO Now even during the main run time. Yes turning off lights helped a lot. But it was pretty dark. If you’re over 40 it was probably a strain.

I always assumed Kylo was speaking “from a certain point of view”. The cave scene hinted at more, imo

Which is why the dick jokes...so they can call it a parody and not get sued. Which sucks because the dick jokes really do break the show most of the time.

I love defensive games because it feels like every first down is a victory, but this one felt like the Pats were in total control from the second quarter on and it would take a monumental mistake on their part for the Rams to win. So yeah, not very exciting.

You reach a certain size, you stop becoming a growth stock. Wall Street gets bored and moves on to the next hot thing. Stock drops. It’s a tale as old as time. If Apple wanted to jack their stock price back up, they could easily do that by dispersing their massive cash holdings to their stock holders. However, the

That’s part of the problem with the new 12.9” iPad Pro...unless you want the base storage it prices up to where the new MacBook Air is at with keyboard....um, I’m taking the Air at that price range (and I love my iPad). But either way Apple figures they’re getting the money.

End of the day they made the right move. Companies agonize over much smaller things all the time. Of course they thought about it and then put the best possible spin on it. It’s why they have marketing people in the first place.

All of this ignores the fact that Lynch was terrible on short yardage plays all season and a pass was the correct call, just not the one the Patriots had studied and practiced for all week. It was well defensed because the Patriots were ready for it.

Despite Movie Pass not issuing tickets for Mission Impossible, that film opened to the franchise’s best opening weekend. Why would a movie studio bother promoting with them? Seems like they don’t really impact business at all. People went anyway.

I’m saving about 80 bucks a month by dumping TiVo and expanded cable and using YouTube TV. Part of the reason it’s cheaper is you can’t always skip commercials and there are fewer channels. But you know what? They have the biggies, especially now with Turner in the mix. However, I am contemplating dumping it. Mostly

I look at the star distribution. So a good product will have decreasing numbers of low star ratings. If there’s a large spike of 1-Star reviews then I’ll pay attention. And you can usually see that maybe there was a problem at one time but got corrected or the product or service used to be good but now it’s not.

Yes, it would appear that the ships can have some sort sentience. The novelization for “The Last Jedi” has a passage about Poe’s ship being a “pain in the ass” according to BB-8. This appears to be different from other X-Wings. Even if it’s a limited AI, the implication is that different ships have different

Lol. Might be true. Cruise brings just the right amount of intense crazy to these films. Like hanging on the outside of a plane and deciding he didn’t do it good enough so they did it again.

Yeah the first 20 minutes was so much darker than the rest of the film I figured the cinematographer must have changed along with director, but apparently not. It was downright hard to see what was going on at times...

99%? More like 30. I’ve had alexa commands bounce around the house and have the upstairs one answer. And as far a mus hearing goes? Probably at least once a day, if not more. This is completely believable.

Duma Key was pretty good. Not sure why but you don’t hear it mentioned much in these kind of discussions.

Good news...I was starting to wonder if this wasn’t a go but saw some Nielsen numbers that suggested it was probably OK for a second season. I actually thought the pacing was just about right for this show. I think shaving 3 episodes off the typical 13 helped move things along.
