Defense was in the “OK” category with the backups in. I suspect Thomas plays out his final year, Sherman probably not (shame, but the economics kind of demand it). Defense would have had better numbers if the offense could stay on the field for more than 3 plays at a time in the 1st half.

I don’t think I’ve ever paid retail on TT site. Usually a credit card or other financial institution offers a deal in Jan.

It’s not even trailers...it’s actual commercials. Stop it. If I wanted a Coke, I would’ve bought one on the way in. You can’t really miss the concession stand after all. I’ve never seen someone go “oh right, I can buy an overpriced Coke in the lobby!” and go do it.

Put something mildly entertaining on before the

I had similar thoughts at the end of this...Last Jedi really feels like the end of the “Skywalker” saga. Sure Ben Solo is kicking around, but this movie really puts a nice bow on original trilogy and prequels. If you were looking to jump off the Star Wars train this would be a good place to do it.

Completely agree. I actually think it the first half was great; the second half was terrible. I guess technically this makes it average. But the second half is pretty much everything I loathe about this current DC universe.

Got a nest thermo a couple of years ago as part of a home security install and was pretty excited about it...worked great at first but seems software QC has gone in the toilet over at nest. The last straw for me was the heat going off (for no apparent reason) at 4:00AM every morning. No entry, no log, nothing but hot

Probably as cheap as they’ll get on digital. And I can confirm Eps 4-6 work with movies anywhere (it was kind of scary how quickly they showed up in iTunes). Almost pulled the trigger on 3 too, but yeah...I’d just like to forget them (other than John William’s excellent scores).

Wilson is amazing. I don’t know how long he can keep it up, but he sure is fun to watch. The SI guy has a point though, Seattle’s coaches have been far too slow to adapt to his strengths. But that’s on them, not Wilson. Wilson’s biggest weakness slow starts (games and season). But that could be coaching, too.

Amazon is well aware they are doing this, USPS is not doing themselves any favors by lying. If you send Amazon an email with a USPS missing delivery, they default to “wait a day” for it show up and actually say USPS “sometimes” mark packages as delivered before they deliver them.

I took the “care to step outside” line as a deliberate wink towards Superman II. Which is what this crossover got right. They had a lot fun with what is at its heart a silly concept (evil Nazi doppelgängers is about as silly as it gets). And they earned it through multiple seasons of backstory.

It’s extremely short-sighted. But this current incarnation of the GOP seems to be anti-education and anti-science, so it’s not really surprising something like this not only got in the bill, but when a giant light was shone on it it still stayed in. The Senate version doesn’t have it, but anything could happen in

MIT is private and can charge whatever they want, but even public institutions are charging 30K, which is probably set by their state’s legislatures to some extent (or some other public body).

My experience as well. Although I’ve noticed Alaska doesn’t do this when the plane has the new overhead bins that allow you to flip the bags on their sides. There’s plenty of space overhead on those flights, now.

Apparently this play works well in practice since they seem to love it despite its history. I would run the hell out of it against Seattle D if I were an opposing team.

For sure...I the queue is long with stand-up specials. I think the problem with Netflix is over-saturation. Netflix originals used to special events and now its all about narrow-casting and demographics and it’s hard to even keep up with what is what anymore.

Retailers can charge whatever they want above the MSRP. They usually have some wiggle room below it, too. But sometimes not. My guess is they’re making up the difference on carrier subsidized equipment with carrier kick-backs.

I consider that a plus...honestly. But you can get them to take it off. At least you could last year. Not sure about auto on-line ordering but definitely in the store.

There is zero reason to get it through your carrier. Apple’s installment plan is as good as, if not better, than the carriers will offer and Apple’s plan comes with an unlocked phone.

It’s not terrible. I honestly think the humor is there to keep CBS’ lawyers away. It’s otherwise a complete TNG knock-off.

The only surprising thing about this story is someone leaked it. Of course Disney pulled rank. The property is probably profitable globally for Disney, but a loser for ABC. Back in the day this would have been the studio “reducing licensing fees” to keep something on the air...now they just tell their broadcast
