That bandwagoning argument is ridiculous. The Cowboys have been mediocre for almost 20 years. Anyone left standing is definitely a true Cowboys fan at this point. Some of us actually grew up Cowboys fans around the Dallas area.

NFL announced this year they were cracking down on the verbal stuff, too. Of course, an official would have to actually hear it which I would think would be fairly difficult in most game situations.

No the replay clearly showed he slid into the endzone after hitting the ground.

I would say a lot of the symptoms he describes I would say may be more related to his age than anything else, depending on what is going on in his life.

I buy Amazon because they come in longer sizes. Quite honestly, the standard Apple cables are too short, particularly for wall chargers.

I'm not going to argue that banging your head around day in and day out is good for you. Because there is really no way that it isn't going hurt you in some way. But the studies so far have definitely been plagued by selection bias. And I know "NFL is evil" is popular, but honestly, when confronted with these studies

The Rookie symposium is actually a pretty great thing the league does to try and curtail bad behavior and inform their employees. Ross Tucker has gone into detail about how they work and why they are important on his podcast and it is pretty interesting listening.

Agreed. I'd say 10" is a great size for PDFs and watching movies. I've actually read e-books on a 3.5" in the past, and while not ideal, it wasn't awful. I can see where a large screen phone (4-5") and 10" tablet would just be about the ideal traveling companions.

I think Mexico City is a good idea myself. When I was down there in 2011, had no trouble catching the games. They were on everywhere. Obviously a huge fan base down there. However, I believe there are a lot of Cowboys fans and I'm Jerry doesn't want to mess that up (surprised he let a team back into Houston).

Depends on the company, but nothing is mandated except unpaid leave.

Best Vacation I ever took was 3 weeks...and that involved young kids and multiple theme parks. Being off of work an extended period of time is truly relaxing. That being said, that was quite a few years ago and I still haven't managed to string another 3 weeks off in a row since then.

I must always get the other 69% when I fly SWA. I would have said they are the most cramped of them all...

I've noticed hotels with poor tap water tend offer free bottles of water, especially if they cater to business crowd.

I'm confused...are they not allowed to play on turf? Why would you even try to bring in natural grass into a stadium that is mostly enclosed to begin with during the summer, when grass typically dies anyway.

Generally as long as the software keeps getting updated or it breaks. But I'm cheap.

The standard work week is still very much tied to traditional shift work, even though most of us do not work traditional shifts any longer. It's rather ridiculous we are still beholden to it.

"I recently received a promotion at work that included a nice raise". That's all that matters. If you ever leave, "what are you making now" is far more important than what they call you. A lot of companies use titles to make you feel better about being underpaid.

Steam's DRM has competition on the PC, Microsoft's will not on Xbox. Microsoft has had exactly one "fire" sale in 7 years, and that was about two months before they announced backwards compatibility was not happening. Microsoft's online prices typically match (or are higher) than disc at retail. Now, I understand why

Next season is the last so here's hoping. I almost dropped it from the dvr until I heard that. Figure I would ride it out to the bitter end.

Great movie. Mostly because it's so very, very true.
