Wait? you’re offended by the normal guy talk, but not the extreme racism?

Here’s the problem with full-sized trucks, they don’t fit in my garage. No matter how much I want one, my daily can’t be one because a short cab short bed S10 barely fits in my garage. Snow makes not having it in the garage a no-go, so it has to be small.

VWs let you turn the feature on and off, best of both worlds. until it breaks.

The Hyundai Equus. It’s so silly conceptually, but it makes me happy. I see probably 10 for every Audi A8 or Jaguar XJ, and probably 1:1 with the 7-series. it’s funny and bizarre that the second most popular full-sized luxury car I see on the road is a hyundai. I drive one and liked it a lot, but it’s no s-class.

My guess is that some of the cars are imports that were at the port for customs clearance, because I don’t think that they make the UP! or the Touareg there. It looks to me like they were getting local and import cars ready for shipment to southern china, maybe heading to Shanghai or Guangzhou, and they were shipping

The 3-series GT is actually better looking than the sedan imo. not to mention the much better rear legroom and cargo capacity. Still not as good looking as the 4 gc though.

If it doesn’t provide access to seats (in a passenger car) then it isn’t a door. This obviously doesn’t apply to cargo vehicles, but that’s kind of a whole different animal.

One day I was picking a friend up from the Louisville greyhound station (not in the best neighborhood). I saw a large middle aged man on a Harley, wearing a pink bandana, and blasting Mariah Carey. I almost died laughing.

america is weird, most of our cars had 4-speed autos until ‘05ish.

the only people who hink it’s expensive are people who haven’t looked at other prices in that segment. it’s thoroughly midpack price-wise.

NA’s are starting to get pricey in america. a good one is now 2-3000 dollars, pristine is closing in on 4 grand.

because those are already expensive, the title specifies ‘cheap’

that’s why you used to be able to buy them for 4-5000 any day of the week.

that’s fiesta st money stateside, not particularly cheap.

you mean the country with fewer cars per capita than Zimbabwe? yeah, there is still some growth potential there.

really? I helped a friend get one last year and the manuals outnumbered the automatics by at least 5 to 1, probably closer to 10 to 1. that feeling of disappointment though, when you see an ultra-clean, low mileage one and then it’s an auto, worst feeling in the world.

Maybe it’s more of a “front licence plate” avoidance scam. I wouldn’t want a front plate on an exotic car, and I’d be willing to go pretty far out of the way to do avoid it.

it amazes me that they’ve made so many “wtf were they thinking” product choices yet still are selling more cars than ever, it’s truly bizarre.

I bet you could do an ‘11 or ‘12 base model gasoline Q7 though, they were less than 50k new and are 4 years old now, so 40% depreciation is a certainty and 50-60% is very likely.

West Virginia has something similar.
