I love how you said too expensive but weren’t refering to the vintage 911 you mentioned.

nah, they’ll lift it, throw on some gray plastic trim around the wheel arches and say it’s an RS Allroad.

even the gas can looked expensive. that is well into the giggle area for speed though, I had to watch it 3 times before I stopped laughing.

I legit have only seen two of them (both red, so it might have only been one) in the last two years. they must have all been exported to africa or something, because they were all over the place 5 years ago.

it was

I considered buying a 912 for $6500 in ‘08. I thought it was too expensive back then, I stand by that just as much today as I did back then.

everybody hated it, just despised it, when it came out, but it’s one of the most influential designs in modern automobiledom. hindsight is 20/20 I guess...

it only does it on the front door of fords, you have to unlock it first to open the back doors

I saw the first photo, and thought “there is no way you can be high enough to think that this is a good idea”, then I saw the headrests in the second photo and thought “I’ll have whatever he’s having”

it’s all supply and demand, why bother with great service when there are so many broken land rovers and so few places to service them?

The worst part is that it was motor trend’s car of the year in 1997.

when you word it that way, it sounds super awesome. I think you’re just being a hater.

The center console isn’t even soft-touch plastic, which is something that is an absolute requirement of mine in anything more expensive than a subcompact.

Volvo has had the best seats in “affordable” cars for a really long time. the only ones better are in the S-class mercedes. even the volvos from the mid-90’s have insanely comfortable seats. it’s a shame that other car companies can’t figure it out.

20-80k? I was looking at these some years ago and they were 8 for a ratty one, 12 for a pretty good one, and 15 for a pristine one. I didn’t buy because I thought it was ridiculous for these to be double the price of E3 sedans, I called crack pipe at 12 grand, no way in hell at 20.

this exact car with the gas engine would be 1200 dollars, diesel cars hold their value dramatically better here in the states.

except that the Jetta is quite a bit larger than a C-class (which is by any sane definition a compact)

they are the buy of the century at 60k

why not? the 360 is cheap, so have some fun with it. hell, if you win, it'll raise the car's value.

I actually like what lexus have done with the latest LS, they made it look really sporty and agressive, said it was sporty and aggressive, and then made it super comfortable and not sporty at all. The customers want to think and brag about having a sporty car, but they actually want a cushy pleasuremobile, and lexus
