this is so true, my grandmother drives her '07 DTS exclusively to the hairdresser. She also wants a new caddy, even though hers only has 32k miles on it.

Mercedes marketing this as anything other than a hatchback is insane, I saw a few on the road in austria a few months ago, they are SMALL in real life, very good proportions though, reminds me of an 11/10ths scale vw scirocco

If cadillac can get the dealer experience to the same levels of other luxury makes, then the have a good chance in the market. I've been saying for quite some time though that used caddys are the best deal in luxury, they depreciate like german cars but are dramatically more reliable and cheaper to keep on the road.

the 911 and corvette are pretty similar weight-wise, the corvette starts at 3250 pounds and the 911 starts at 3040 (although an s or 4 will be right up on a corvette, and a turbo is 3550 pounds)

owning outright is awesome for some cars, but leasing is great when you want to either beat the shit out of a car or want to get a car that is known to be very unreliable. some people hate leasing because they view that as throwing money away to not own a car, but in reality lease payments are based on expected

The big reason that cars like this have limiters is that the tires that come from the factory are not rated for a higher speed than that. the same reason is why most of those sedans that don't have the sport package are limited to 130, tires are rated for 130, so is the car.

the caveat is that you can't own one as your only car, and you shouldn't own one outside of the warranty period. I have one with 4000 miles and it has been in the shop 6 times already, I have a second car and a 3/4 ton truck (negating the reliability issues, and lack of cargo capacity relative to competitors). If

Drive a tiguan. they murder the cr-v in every way except cargo volume (which is still pretty excellent) and comparable real world fuel economy. the interior quality is a night and day difference, I had to do a double take on the sticker price of the honda when I felt the interior materials, they were abhorrently bad.

Signed it

and no, you aren't even allowed on the same lot as one.

they have flip down mirrors that are for that purpose

it actually requires a CDL in some states to tow that much weight, and basically nobody is going to tow that much unless they are a pro who is hauling heavy machinery.

list the price without the 20% VAT. this brings it into line with what the price would actually be in the US market. one of the reasons that cars appear to be cheaper in the USA is that our prices are exclusive of taxes (our myriad sales tax rates are to blame for this) and every other country has prices that

I'm pretty sure this is the exact business model for limited edition porsches

that's just as well, you damn near can't buy a house there for a million dollars.

how is 7 people not 40% more than 5 people? don't forget the awesome rear facing jump seats!

you can still buy them new with manuals if you want a v6. I've even seen a few dealerships advertise them.

nah, what about the M550d and its 3.0L triple turbo I6 (probably the most egregious offender in the number to displacement disparity)

"Before crossover, we had CUV."???? before crossover we had crossover utility vehicles? these terms are 100% interchangeable because they are the same word for the same thing (just written in a different way)

I was at the local audi dealership yesterday, there was only one A3. it had a sold tag in it.
