What is the real advantage of opening Chrome in Firefox? Does Google Chrome handle some web pages better than in Firefox? Gmail (I already have BetterGmail in my Firefox)? Can Chrome handle web page with ActiveX that Firefox can't? If it could, I would love to add this extension in replace of "IE View Lite".

Thanks but I don't need more suggestion.

I also heard of this Portable version from DI and have downloaded it to try.

Have tried Chrome but its features are not enough to replace Opera USB portable (used for web surfing with cookies disable). Firefox is still my main browser.

This is useful. I like it. Thanks.

The current Chrome won't turn me away from Firefox. However, I would see whether it can outshine Opera USB version I have been using beside the Firefox. I like the quick launch and low system resource in Opera USB version.

I will definitely try it out. However, I don't really want a new browser. Firefox is great (though it takes longer time to start than Opera).

I also voted for AdBlock Plus.

Have known [BigWords.com] when I was still a grad student. However now I prefer a more simple design of book price comparison sites like BookFinder.com.

Regarding VirtualBox, it's great that it's free, but to me the drawback is that it cannot use the Windows installed in BootCamp Partition. Any solution for that? I really don't want to install Windows and its applications programs again or remove the BootCamp partition.

@jarhead: The link you posted is for calculation, not for writing equations or formulas as Hitchhiker427 meant.

The page looks so strange in my latest Firefox. Why?

I used Linux before, mostly for programming, but haven't used it for the last few years. I wouldn't mind abandoning Windows and switching to Linux, as long as I could use the softwares or their alternatives I need.

Just as joelena said, it's not expansive to get a bike computer with cadence. The cost for this project would be $22 (two $10 bike computer plus magnets). I bought a brand-new Sigma BC1606L with cadence from Ebay just for $24.95.

This is exactly how Japanese people read their newspapers on the commuter train, either sitting or standing.

Right after reading this from my RSS feed — but before reading the problems mentioned later in the article, I installed Weave on my office PC and later the portable firefox to see whether it works.

@roxpace: Why? It works fine with me without demanding me to login.
