History is a great example. I have no idea what happened to me in high school but (when I was in college) I could not recall basic American history. I took 4 history classes over 2 summers to give myself a base of knowledge.

Pizza cutters. You can cut all the food your child will consume from birth until about 4 with a pizza cutter. It’s much more effective than a butter knife on a cutting board.

There is a lot to be said for being well-rounded. It’s a often used phrase that gets thrown around a lot but being well-rounded in a variety topics due to the general ed requirements has helped me a lot more than I thought as I struggled through gen ed requirements in college.

Close to a park? Rather, far away from Geary? Geary is gritty. Closer to a park is better.

Just kidding. There’s nothing to see there.

Kobe in Minnesota? Doubt it. Hands down it's a generic North Stars jersey with no player. Everyone wears North Stars gear.

I've heard from friends/family that going from 0-1 child is the biggest jump, 1-2 is a very close second because of the adjustments the first child will need to make, but any more kids after 2 are pretty easy.

I took out bad student loans to pay for undergrad and grad school. I didn't really know what I was doing.

A great example for my "pass this test before you can reproduce" theory.

Definitely. I lost about 30 and got rid of all the fat clothes and bought new skinny clothes. If the skinny clothes feel too tight I know I might be slipping.

Nice.

It was just an observation. Like my observation that you had an awesome space to work in.

I don't get it. Is there a joke here?

That's an awesome space. But the chair doesn't look too comfortable :/

Not to play favorite ... but I think Alan/you is/are my favorite LH'er'er. I miss the articles and the old LH podcast. I always felt his/your advice was methodical and well thought out. I plan my life the same way. Everything I do, every decision I make, is after careful and thoughtful consideration.

If looking to save time and simplify life I think a programmable coffee maker fits into this lifestyle.
