Was that Johnson from Peep Show in that timeless trailer? Also will it go back in time to a point when Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke doing a tv show together would have been a thing I got really excited about?

https://www.youtube.com/wat… Maybe it was because they didn't want to challenge anyway to try and top this masterpiece of covers (Probably not).

Is there any scenario in which the Motorhead cover isn't a total abomination, other than Gwar.

The definitive version of Wrecking Ball has already been done by Bob Ducca, this should be respected. Also anyone covering Adam Ant should do so in costume, lest they end up putting less effort into it than I put into every fancy dress party circa 09/10 (I had one Adam Ant getup that I just got all the mileage out of).

I guess you could say they were….All filler, no killer.

I pretty much have this with most of the songs I listened to frequently between the ages of 12-18, it's a disturbing phenomenon,

That was pretty bad writing really, I mean she's got a very strong code of non involvement over years of conflict, you really would have to explain to her that this time it's a completely new threat, one that essentially represents a second apocalypse. Kinda felt like their explanations to Luna had to be vague/weak in

At this point I think I may just enjoy it because I really wanted to enjoy it. Time traveling, d list superheroes, what should have been old school pulp sci fi, I'd love a show like that. It's some bizarro self prophecy that trumps actual good writing(Also Caity Loitz and Wentworth Miller).

What really confuses me is how the younger generation of Bernie supporters came to view themselves as radical and idealistic in the first place. In the narrow spectrum of a two party system, especially one that functions down largely conservative lines, sure Bernie Sanders is a "radical" voice. In the broad spectrum

True, to be honest I don't really see it as an unacceptable deviation, and I'm kind of loathe to behold any property to that kind of expectation (My only exception is Star Trek, but that's very specific and another matter entirely). I was just trying to figure out if there was a disconnect between the reactions of

I think the difference is that the Avengers has had a ton of notable and beloved runs since. And is kind of an iconic title regardless of whose writing it. As far as the comics medium goes, I don't think many people would associate Suicide Squad with the New 52 runs or the fractured 90's ones.

Not the all too brief Ales Kot run though, I just want to personally exonerate him

Does anyone else who loved the Ostrander comics feel a sense of strong apathy/like this is really not the Suicide Squad film they wanted/hypothetically imagined? Or am I just on some island of jaded cynicism (Don't visit, it's incredibly overrated) with not getting how fun and exciting this is meant to be?

I feel pretty much the opposite, I'd be so excited if I felt like it was going to be genuinely insane/take all kinds of crazy risks. To me it just looks like it's "focus group edgy", like it's all been calculated to inspire that exact reaction but without really doing anything bold.

To me he just looks so much likethe lead singer of the Prodigy that I'm going to be so disappointed when he doesn't spend the whole movie committing gratuitous arson because he's a twisted fire starter. (I won't reference that other Prodigy song here, we don't need that mental image of Jared Leto).

I kept waiting for it to become a criticism. For example, I think ambiguity for ambiguity's sake is on occasion too easily lauded. And that there is a line between asking the audience to interpret and forcing the audience to create their own impressions to realise what is less of a character and more of blank cipher.

Honestly I think he probably thinks it's called Nextflix, which isn't as stupid as it sounds. I have a friend who for the longest time thought Skrillex was Skillrex, which is also a much better name.

I feel like I had the same hopes for Mike Kafka's NFL career.

If Hannibal and the various announcements for Star Trek are any indication, he knows how to bring in a team of quality collaborators that get his vision. Which is really crucial with these things.

It's Sad But True, but I think you're right.
