I’d rather have lab grown meat than something pretending to be meat. If I’m eating non-meat, I’d rather just eat my non-meat well prepared in a non-meat manner that fits said non-meat.

My impression is that the issue is about donations from a family foundation run and funded by the corporate owners, not direct donations from the company itself. I am open to being corrected if I’m wrong.

Same, I’ve had the same (mostly straight) people bitch at me for eating chik-fil-a while they’re munching down on dominoes, who also donates to anti-lgbt causes.  IF you’re not going to take the time to find and boycott everything that does this don’t tell me what to do. 

This is all fine generally, but I would point out that almost every company is going to end up passing profits to someone that is going to support causes that you’re really not going to like. The Cathys might be a little more direct.
