Now, is there a way to change the default "User" folder? Like you I have my stuff located in a Users folder on F:, not C:. So I wind up having two locations. One that is used. And one that is not (except for apps that stick their stuff in there without asking me first)

Same. Novelty and Speed are inversely proportional for that type of stuff.

most likely no. especially not for the cpu. and it's highly doubtful for the video card. They need a way to dissipate the heat. If you remove the fans you'll need to put enormous heat sinks on them, or have them liquid cooled.

This is what i do, but i use DVDFab for both and then handbrake with my custom profile to spit them out with around 2GB file sizes.

When you add a couple billion dollars onto the budget, the money has to come from pretty much everywhere. This is why there is a growing contingent saying to quit spending money, and coming up with new policies that require even more funding. We don't have the money to give up anymore!

I wish they allowed me to enter in my salary so I could get a better estimate. They aren't very descriptive of where the tax bands are for each plan and none of the 3 options are really relative to my salary.

Is there a way to tell what is DRM encoded and what isn't? I have a TivoHD, and have never had an issue with DRM, but i'm assuming it's handling it properly if it's there.

From what I remember when buying my Windows 7 OEM software, the OEM key was only allowed to be installed on one computer and was tied to that hardware configuration indefinitely. I don't think deactivating it on that box will allow you to use it on another different configuration. ONLY Boxed Retail copies will allow

To me an egg that is "sunny side up" is one that hasn't been flipped. An egg that has been flipped is called "over easy". Which is the way I typically order it, because most places don't fully cook the egg white on a sunny side up egg and serve it to you half raw. I thought all this was common knowledge. Never knew

Yea, there's no way Safari is THAT good with the memory. They are hiding usage somewhere else. It's likely in virtual memory somewhere.

One would hope that 7 will still be an option as the default install. I know this was the case with Windows XP after Vista came out.

What would you suggest in the $100-150 range?

I really wish they'd update the icons. It looks like an app from about 1995.

Any sort of light shining directly in your eyes will cause strain whether it's a light bulb, flashlight, tv, phone, or computer. This is especially true when the room is dark and your pupils are dilated. The light shining directly onto your retina will wear you out. Indirect lighting of the subject matter is MUCH

It shocks you. It really fucking shocks you. My nephew has this thing and it's hilarious and nerve racking all at the same time.

I laughed when i saw it walk and imagined a human walking "exactly" like that. I should be used to the hyperbole on this site, but apparently not.

Yes the roots would have a hard time establishing themselves and making it much harder.

If it bugs you enough there is always rooting and installing a custom ROM that will be Jelly Bean. It's not TOOOO hard.

I'd rather them not update to the version that is on Gizmodo right now.

Needs to be made of those frozen ice packs to keep it extra cool for a bit longer.
