i tried digsby, but it was quite resource heavy. I'm using Pidgin right now and i like how light it feels. I've heard there's another one that's even better, but can't remember the name of it. And i've used Yahoo's IM file transfer because just about everyone has set up a profile/email there at one point as well.

I really like this computer alot. Only 2 problems i see is it takes a key-combination to get to the PageUp/PageDown buttons. which i use alot when browsing the web. And Ivy Bridge it literally a couple months away.
