He’s got a point. It’s an explicitly feminist action with a gendered name, and there’s a huge history of men intruding on explicitly feminist and gendered spaces and actions in ways that are unwanted and counter-to-purpose regardless of how well-meaning those men are.

Finally, paper can burn, but the Cloud is for eternity. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Okay, then let’s say I feel that way about the US intelligence apparatus as a whole for other reasons that vary.

I’m really curious why a lot of liberals now seem to think we should start trusting the CIA, considering like- everything it’s ever done. Whether it’s installing fascists abroad, the fucking Phoenix Program, their involvement in cocaine trafficking-

They’re both bad things- but they’re very different bad things.

I don’t think it’s necessarily about Russia- more significant than his Russian ties are his adoption of Surkov’s theories of propaganda and nonlinear warfare- I can very easily see a future where Trump is at blows with Russia, particularly because Russia is nowhere near as important as the democratic establishment

Oh, don’t get me wrong. Republicans are monsters when it comes to healthcare access. They’re not interested in fixing existing problems. But I think a lot of democrats aren’t interested in fixing the problems either.

The Clintons, like a lot of successful politicians, seem to disproportionately favor loyalty over other virtues- I get that that’s important when you have a massive right wing smear machine aimed at you but he was just terrible at OpSec.

Stop saying “hacked the election.” Nobody “Hacked the election.” Hackers probably affiliated with the Russian government hacked one political party’s email server because John Podesta is an idiot who clicks phising links.

Multiple people can be evil! Evil comes in many shades, and not every situation has someone standing in for good.

I’m sorry, but that’s not true. It was all the Democrats would propose for the Democratic-led congress to debate on prior to the midterms. Obama dismissed single-payer before talks even started, and Clinton made opposition to single-payer a bedrock pledge in her primary campaign last year.

Obamacare was a bad, shitty plan that bad, shitty people decided to embrace instead of something more defensible because picking up a failed Republican plan was easier actually running the winning strategy they’d need in the states to enshrine proper UHC in the constitution.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Failsons have no sense of scale.

I don’t think it’s racist to think that a police department’s claims of racial equality are laughable when faced with this kind of evidence.

People like you don’t seem to get how the electoral college works.
