The Dark Tower is impossible to do as a film and do it ANY justice. Read the novels and be satisfied with those. It amazes me just how disrespectful Hollywood is to great classic novels and movies (by doing remakes). Pure greed and nothing else.

I want to smash the author of this piece in the teeth. I'm 55 and I had to endure the 60's, 70's & 80's "quality" of television. Compared to that era, the writing for DD is akin to a theatrical masterpiece. The level of nitpicking and simpering re: the show representing asians in a less than PC idealism is appalling.…
