Couldn't agree more. Someone on the show needed to support Felicity but instead they just supported Oliver's behaviour even more which in turn made Felicity look bad because she refused to accept it. She's not bad. She's not wrong. They've done her such a disservice here.

Haha, curse the internet! No, I meant spoilers because yes, I do think Laurel is in the grave. And even if she wasn't I don't think they'd ever go back to Laurel/Oliver. That is dead and done.

I said spoilers because something is gonna happen soon that makes Oliver and Laurel impossible. I don't know how else I can spell it out.

LOL I'd forgotten Laurel only got her job through blackmail. Good point. I'm glad they remembered she was a lawyer though but she's terrible at it. She even had to be told to use her team as witnesses. The fact that she didn't even think this first is atrocious.

The only way I can deal with this contrived Olicity drama is how well Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards work together. They sell their scenes amazingly. That first scene in the loft was so realistic and awkward and heartbreaking, I really felt for both of them.

Lying about working with the team is not the same as lying about having a kid. Sorry but it's not and it's incredibly unfair to suggest they're even remotely the same. She lied about helping keep their team alive while they were away. He lied about a whole other person to the woman he planned to marry. You don't do

Olicity are actually great together when they're not forced to break-up for contrived dramatic reasons. The flashbacks are dull and boring and haven't related to the present day since season 2. They are terrible.

It's because they can't seem to understand that people don't want to watch back and forth romantic drama. I love Olicity together but I'd prefer it if they just kept them together and be done with it.

Uh. No way. But spoilers.

Agree with all of this. Felicity needed time and space and Oliver needed to learn that he can't lie anymore. He needed to lose her completely if he's gonna learn and evolve.

Guess I'll be the outlier, I like Felicity. I've always liked Felicity. And I really don't think she's done anything wrong. She can be a bit harsh sometimes but she's only hurting. The point is Oliver lied to her for months about having a child. I don't care if he didn't want to lie. I don't care that he had no

"That's what girls do." I have no idea how to respond to that. I'm guessing if your future wife was keeping a secret kid from you and you found out, you'd be totally cool with it. Actually all men would. Cool. Good to know.

Yeah. I'm a very frustrated Felicity fan right now. I really don't think she did anything wrong and she'd have more sympathy if they gave their scene more time and respect.

Exactly. This episode was really disrespectful to the relationship they'd built between Oliver and Felicity actually. They spent so much time showing all the ways they're good together and then didn't even give them enough time to talk. Disappointing.

I meant in this episode. Oliver spoke to Diggle and then he spoke to Vixen, even going as far as accepting her advice. Not once did he talk to his fiancé.

I've spotted Stephen Amell's stunt double too but never as much as Cassidy's.

Felicity has made it clear that she loves their mission so even if she broke up with Oliver I think she'd still be there working with him. She said earlier in the season that it gives he life purpose.

Finally, someone who gets it. Oliver literally talked to everyone else but the woman he's marrying. I don't blame Felicity for realising that Oliver isn't ready to be a full partner yet.

When did the episode even give Felicity the chance to listen to Oliver's side though? They didn't care about giving her or their relationship time to digest what had happened. They just wanted a quick break-up for the sake of drama. I don't put that on either of their characters but terrible writing.

To be fair to Felicity this show refused to dedicate the time to a heart to heart conversation. They gave her the last 2 minutes of the show, if that, to talk to Oliver and suddenly have the ability to walk. There was no time at all. So while I agree that a proper conversation was needed, they totally didn't let that
