I like this rig as a training tool for panic braking. It would help new riders learn just how hard they can brake without the worry of going over the handle bars. I personally like keeping both tires in contact with the road at all times. Wheelies and stoppies are fun to watch (in a closed environment) but don’t

If the tail end of the bike starts coming around, letting off the brake isn’t going to save you.

I don’t know if this is the same guy I saw, but in the 90’s I saw a spray painted orange one at my local dragstrip in NH. It wasn’t doing 11’s, but it was around the 12-13 second mark. Funniest thing to see when lined up against a Mustang or Camaro.

I can’t believe I’m saying this...

This is great. In my case I tend to use my bench as a shelf for stuff I don’t want to put away. If it’s folded up, I have no choice but to put the tool or project back where it belongs.

In NH I don’t see a lot of rare or exotic cars. I did see an ACR Viper once. Heard it driving well before I saw it and I tried to get to the lights to see it side by side, but it turned left and the light went red before I could get a close look. It was angry sounding as it drove away!

Stop the madness America! Bring over the good stuff damn it!!!

Correct, no one uses facebook/twitter to BUY a car. The purpose is to stay top of mind with your clients and future clients. When they think “i need a new car” hopefully the dealership that is fun and interactive shoots to the top of the list of dealers to check out.

nothing is guaranteed at a racetrack. if you get hurt, it’s part of why you go to watch racing in person.

And those wheels!

I had a 1991 Lumina Euro Sport as my first car, it’s the only car I’ve owned that I actually miss. And I’ve certainly owned nicer/better built cars since then. I sold it with 175,000 miles on it to my cousin who drove it past 200,000.

I have a Miata, when I see a speed bump I accelerate and channel my inner Duke boy.

I’ve had enough of increasing the size of the wheels on the car every generation. By 2020 every SUV will have 30’s, sedans 24’s and compacts on 20’s.

This story is universal and happens all the time.

Who cares if it isn’t like the old Top Gear? Let’s wait and see what happens. Let’s not write off the biggest car show ever just because changes were made. Especially knocking potentially new hosts when no one has seen them together in a pilot episode.

Top Gear as a brand is too massive to throw away. I have no problem with them using it. I also don’t expect them to duplicate the show as it was, they will make it different and I for one will give it a chance.

I’ve been doing the same thing for over a year now. It’s the main reason why I haven’t sold my Ranger and Miata, once sold, I still don’t know what to replace them with. (I have two kids and wife and dog, 4 doors are a must at this point) I’m sure our personal friends who buy the same car over and over think this

I read a few comments about “why text the dealer.”

I’m very curious what it’s like to maintain and repair this car. Parts availability would be the thing I would worry about the most.

A few inquires in a short span don’t damage your credit as much as people think. (if at all) It’s repeated inquires over a long time span that cause your credit score to go down.
