The one thing I will say on this is why not run your credit? If you credit comes back as a 400 score or something ridiculously low, what’s the point of letting the person drive it? If they have to finance it, they are likely not going to get financing anywhere at that score. Yet you want the salesman to waste his time

When I worked for Dodge parts, it was $20,000 to order a new hood.

Yup, I’m running into this guy with my car if it happens to me. Do not threaten my family unless your willing to go through with it and deal with those consequences.

2012 Ford Escape radio/hvac controls. Ridiculous button layout. Can’t find what you want without looking at it and I counted 40+ buttons. Did I just hit preset 3 or 4?

But how would they know that car was at the track at the same time as those other two cars? Is it time stamping it too?

Keep it anonymous. How will Ferrari know who the owner is if they never address it? I know there isn’t a ton of those cars out, but how can they prove it’s one owners car?

Why is everyone paying their respects to Top Gear already? Will it be the same without Clarkson, no. Saying it's dead without seeing what they do is extreme. And those of you claiming you wont watch the new incarnation are nuts. Heaven forbid they manage to salvage the show and make it good (if not great) again. But

All gold cars are driven by people over 70.

BFG's on a Forester=Awesome

It still eliminates the ice you have to scrape. And if you search around, you can find someone who will install a remote starter on a manual transmission car.

Remote starter set to defrost. Fire it up ten minutes before I leave and my windows are clear when I go to leave. Easy.

Carry a tow strap with you just in case you get stuck. Good to have so the kind person who stops to help you may be able to pull you out. Which is a hell of a lot easier than pushing your stuck car.

Which one of these would cost the least to maintain? I'm willing to bet the cost to buy will double in short order keeping it on the road.

You are absolutely right, it won't be the ideal situation for all places. And I'd hope in thirty years the batteries should be cheaper to buy and replace. The money saved from not having to maintain the vehicles as rigorously should more than make up for that expense.

I found one source that says it's double that. Still, it's very easy for an electric vehicle to cover each route without running out of juice at 12-14 miles per route.

I'm all for an electric car for mail. I read somewhere that the average miles those postal trucks drive everyday is 6-7 miles. No range anxiety issues and cheaper to maintain long term.

Junior in the rear drivers side seat had the right idea wearing a helmet with a mask for that test!

In a lot of cases, people can't plan for the future. Though the cost of the warranty may seem expensive and unnecessary up front, it'll be easy for someone who refuses to save for repairs to spread the cost out over the loan "just in case."

Pontiac LeMans... ugh...

That is a great color on that car. I can't wait for the next generation.
