I'm with you on the small truck with one addition. Inexpensive. Enough with these overpriced mall queens. Someone needs to make a truck that is built only to do truck things with no extras. Keep it around 13-16k and I think it would be a hit.

If Toyota really wants to go after youth, start with cheaper cars (ie Yaris, Corolla) and not a car that'll likely be 30k when "TRD" outfitted. Honda has done well with the Civic SI at a price of 23k and Ford's Fiesta ST is the exact model they could follow for the Yaris.

I read through a bunch of these, and I didn't see anyone post the Typhoon or Syclone. I never see these unless I go to a car show. Even then it isn't a guarantee one will be there.

That is a per project assessment. I have a friend at work that loves building cars and as soon as it's completed, he's bored with it and sells it. He just wants the project, thinking his way through and doing most or all the work himself. You'd have to see the car in person before making that judgement call.

I really have a gripe with rental cars. Yes, people like us may just say "screw it" and drive it like you stole it. But every time I've had a friend or family member rent a car, they just drive it. I believe people who beat on rental cars are the minority of renters.
