I haven’t heard anything about the Charger EV, not that I’ve looked. What’s wrong with it? Other than being a dodge in general 🤣

I hope David gets all the pie. He’s truly one of the greats.
Hot Take: As we start pushing less expensive EVs dealerships need an electrician on staff or short call to install a home charger prior to delivery. I truly believe access to home charging will be the deciding factor whether some buy an EV and never go back or return to the fumes.
“Stellantis” and “Rushing,” what can go wrong?
Yeah - rushing a product...a Stellantis one at that...will turn out well.
I actually spotted a barely-camouflaged one driving on I-94 near the Detroit Airport a couple of days ago. I wish I had taken a picture, but I didn’t recognize it at first. It looked so plain and nondescript, you could have put any badge on it and I would’ve believed you. I was most surprised by how big it was - I’d…
Or, better yet this one
I believe most of the newest EVs get to 80% on a 15 min charge. That will get you those numbers already. A 300 mile range plus a 15min charge to 80% gets you 540 miles. At 80mph, a 15 min break over 6.75 hours of driving if nothing and should satisfy most peoples needs.
I love how manufactures keep citing low EV demand and then offer nothing appealing to buy. I’m not going to pretend the ID.7 would go gangbusters in the US, but I’d seriously consider it, which I can’t say about the blobby ID.4 crossover or $60K for a base model van that, as far as I can tell, has only shown up in…
“Ha! see I told you! Those Battery Devils will be the end of us. Down with EVs!” - somebody, somewhere.
Agree and a good percentage of the pre-orders were for the range extended version.
No the entire point of electrification is not that we use 100% electricity only. A range extender makes this vehicle accessible to a lot more folks. I still have no desire to road trip an EV, but would like an EV for around town. A range extender on here is highly interesting to me, letting me use electricity 98% of…
But now people who are rich, but not super rich, might need to walk sometimes! They might need to take the underground train-hole! They might see a poor! Won’t someone think of people who make more than $500,000 but less than $5,000,000 annually?
Honestly, as soon as you said New Jersey is furious, the program earned my full support.
According to the MTA, they will be spending the money on this:
The other trick many are resorting to is taking a “down payment” off of the sale price.
ADAB
Because they have zero idea what they are doing and like to think they know better, whilst simultaneously ignoring centuries of underground transit experience.
I’m not tunnelist, so perhaps this is a dumb question, but I too am shocked at the change in elevation the tunnel has. I thought tunnels were flat (if no other reason than to prevent flooding waters from completely running in one direction and swamping a station). Why does this thing rise/fall so much? Terrible…
One exit for the entire first tunnel? Boy, I sure hope that door doesn’t jam in case of an EV fire, that tend to burn for quite a while. And that household fire extinguisher at the start better be inspected.
