We’ve had relatively easy access to guns throughout our country’s history. Of course the propagation of guns makes it easier to commit mass shootings but it is not the only factor at play. 

I’m not saying that we shouldn’t implement strict gun control laws. I’m pointing out that there are already enough guns currently in circulation to keep mass shooters equipped for the next hundred years.

The algorithms actively push people towards extreme content.  It’s been documented with both Facebook and YouTube off the top of my head. 

There are more guns in America than people. Even if guns were outright banned today, there’d still be millions in circulation for the foreseeable future. That’s not to mention the fact that often the guns used in these shootings were acquired by circumventing already existing laws.
