unless they announce they're firing Snyder it's safe to say there will be no course correction.

my understanding is the ticket sales crashed really bad in China weekend to weekend supposedly by 78%. The movie might still pull in a total billion once it goes on video and syndication. But clearly this movie did not pull in the smashing day one money WB/DC wanted. Instead they got the same mixed response Man of…
if you google what that means while at work you will be fired.
agreed. They just seem scary 'cause they're all jumping up and down like lunatics. But in terms of what they can actually do they're not even a fraction of the threat the USSR was or Russia still is today, let alone other countries like China.
yeah the simplistic graphics of the time seem to just enhance the scene by making everything seem like a simple fact and letting the audience imagine the rest. As opposed to an over produced CGI action sequence of missiles launching that you would get today.
The "Granada Voted for Trump" one is best.
you would think so. But the B-52 does it much better. https://upload.wikimedia.or…
The best one was the M-4 'Bison'. Which was a jet bomber similar in idea to the B-52. It's production was so limited, and actual reliability so bad, that when the Soviets showed it off during a May Day parade they had ten of them do a giant loop to give the appearance that there were more of them. The CIA said the…
enough of this Soviet propaganda how about some nice North Korean propaganda. https://youtu.be/qSS572GZq2A
I wonder if someone could make a trailer similar to that one for Karate Kid that shows that Rocky is the villain and Drago is the underdog defending himself from a crazed man who is out for revenge? https://youtu.be/C_Gz_iTuRMM
I always took it to indicate that Drago was taking the fight seriously and was disappointed that Apollo wasn't. A he got what he deserved kind of attitude. But yeah the movie is trying to depict him as some sort of inhuman machine compared to Rocky's 'all natural' training regimen.
no public face ever said so, other than maybe Eisenhower, who was concerned about the US over inflating the treat as an excuse for a runaway military budget. Hollywood clearly took its cues from Washington who also played the underdog card constantly. The bomber gap, the missile gap, etc.
I guess you could say the US kept trying to depict itself in an underdog status (one man vs. a whole army) while the Soviets preferred to depict themselves as the self evident winners.
they did in China. The problem is that the China bot got to operate under the protection of the Chinese web police who censor stuff automatically. So Chinese Tay never had to deal with people deliberately trying to get her to repeat 'hail hitler'.
I'm still confused why this whole movie isn't just animated. Considering WoWs cartoon art style that would have made way more sense then pairing up live action with CGI. Of course while I'm at it I'd probably hop in my time machine and have this come out 5 years ago when WoW was actually a big deal.
I liked his threat of possibly being a wizard as he backs out of the bar. The one with Hemingway is better though.
it's the only way they can show off their 'big' army without the risk of revealing how generally under trained, armed and generally prepared they really are.
WoT is the greatest piece of Russian propaganda since Sputnik.
I bet he's charging 5x the rate for those parachutes.
isn't that just his back story though. He's an arms merchant, but he clearly works for Cobra directly and isn't some outside guy.
