Sounds more like Phone Booth than Die Hard .

maybe it's like mini marts in America that are usually owned by recent immigrants? Their grasp of English isn't always super good but they learn the basic phrases they need to run the store not converse philosophy.

did that start up as an issue right away or was that something that cropped up further into the trial when it became obvious it was a total circus?

well that and High School degrees no longer carry the correct amount of education for a lot of today's jobs. They really need to bring back trade schools that focus in on singular job lines instead of the generic high school education people get right now.

well there was that one time in Voyager where they showed all the discontinued "Doctor" holograms were being used for essentially slave labor in a mine of some kind. HOLOGRAM FREEDOM TODAY!!

and then prayed to their gods to nuke them when that failed.

the closest recurrence would be in Voyager with the Omega Particle which destroys subspace rendering warp drive useless. So Voyager launches a preemptive attack to destroy the particle some other species is trying to create to stop them.

If Warf had his way everyone would have to take a blood oath just to use the bathroom.

I doubt the Klingons ever even had a monetary system. They're a warrior race. I imagine everything is either given in exchange for protection or taken by force.

Wasn't the big thing that they had eliminated greed as a motivational factor? You could easily argue that America and every other 1st world nation exist in a post resource scarcity environment for a least the basics, but that people continue to go homeless and hungry because of the desire to extract 'value' from them

Of the big civs yes. But the show, especially Voyager, shows there is a galaxy wide barter system still in place. So it seems only only raw resources have value, which makes sense. The replicators can't make something out of nothing, they're just rearranging atoms into a mold. So those atoms have to come from

yes stores on ships and of course shore leave at foreign ports.

well Enterprise security does rely heavily on the honor system.

I think they were just messing with him. They already told Jonas Jr. that the guild handles antagonists only. The OSI handles the good guys/protagonists.

Brock ran out too remember. So a thin guy and big in costumes run back in. So they likely think he is Kano, which makes even more sense since Brock is a known murder machine.

The real money is in Hitler on Ice.

It has that car crash on the highway watchability. I remember reading an article before that came out that covered some of the conspiracy theories around it, gold standard, moon landing.

Actually got this film lined up for my weekend watching. Is the non-criterion blu-ray worth watching? I went with the Criterion DVD since they're always quality and the non-Criterion restore jobs are always all over the map in terms of quality.

it only works with the good stuff, lead paint.
