As I recall there is/was a guy dressed as Darth Vader who ran for various offices in Ukraine as well.

Oh you mean Dark Matter. Its crap and requires very little attention. Warning: Paying to much attention may lead to brain damage.
The New Arrivals section straight up lies. Most of the stuff I see in there is stuff I know has been around for months beforehand. I think it can more accurately be called 'stuff we want to push this week for some reason'.
yep numbers without the demographics behind them are useless to advertisers.
I always suspected that the numbers he mentioned were raw numbers. Which included people who watch just the first minute then leave and people watching the same episode multiple times.
yeah the setup was just awful. The only way I could figure out how to watch new episodes was to bookmark the first episode so that we I came back next week it would auto populate the 'up next' section with the new episode.
That's how I remember it. It felt like they had different writing teams that were fighting against each other plot threads would just appear and disappear seemingly at random. I think the only items in their plot bible were 1) He can't fly, even though we've shown him flying several times already. 2)Lex is evil,…
I could see Spacey doing it, the problem was they told him to act like Hackman which is not in his wheelhouse. So he came off like a cheap imitation.
Both those shows have heavy beautiful people will they won't they nonsense in them. That's the CWs bread and butter. That said it is toned down from what Smallville had which was some sort of superpowered Dawsons Creek most of the time.
It's a real mixed bag. I don't think it ever really had a quality arc of solid good seasons. So you just have random episodes that are good and others that aren't, spread across the whole thing.
he gets a blood transfusion from Leia, gets midi-chlorians and goes crazy.
Not really. You just have to base him off Napoleon. He defeats the evil king and frees the people and brings democracy. The democracy descends into anarchy almost immediately. So Luke with his popularity tries to instill order back into the system eventually culminating in him declaring himself Emperor. In this…
It's JJ Abrams plus Disney. It will be amazing if 90% of the movie isn't a rehash of previous Star Wars movies.
I'm unfulfilled in my 30s and have to work with a bunch of people older than me and I'm fucking miserable.
America. Vader is supposed to be America that has been seduced by the dark side of Nixon. While Luke represents the youth culture that might redeem the country.
Mad Max would have been more theme appropriate I think.
the guys with giant puppet. Because the other guy can point at them and say "look at how many idiots believe in this nonsense. You should believe in my nonsense instead because the only bling I have is this little America flag on my lapel."
That's the part they want you to watch.
That would probably end up being a good thing since he seems to be interested in good governance. So forcing the house to vote on shit instead of allowing the nonsense that existed before for the sack of career.
Yes Hotel Rwanda effectively used the less is more technique.
