On the whole, I’m pleased with how RE7 turned out. Not the kind of revolution that RE4 was, but a much-needed experiment for Capcom to revitalize the franchise and get it back to its roots. I’m hoping that they keep going in this direction with the next game.

I’ve got 192 hours on Siege logged. As far as I’m concerned, it’s still one of the best online experiences out there. It’s unforgiving to a degree that most other games aren’t comfortable with, and it will kick your ass for a long while.

Worth playing again? Siege has been in the top 5-10 on Steam all year.
