Yeah that actually sounds kind of great? I could see how that would make each bullet feel significant in a way that most games don’t achieve.

PUBG on Xbox One has given me headaches for a long time now (bad performance, bad controls, bad rubberbanding, bad matchmaking options, fuck miramar), so I was eager to try the Blackout beta.

This beta absolutely ripped. I’m 100% going to buy BLOPS4 specifically for this mode because it made such a good impression on me. It fixed my biggest gripe from PUBG and Fortnite: that when you pull your chute at the beginning of the game, it doesn’t take eighteen years to hit the ground.

temporary cosmetics was just another nail in the coffin for pubg. on the pubg discord I play on everyone loved blackout almost unanimously and we will not be returning to pubg after release. just look at all the depressed streamers playing pubg everyday waiting for this to release.

Great people, too. I every so often get to work for James (middle) helping to hawk his awesome props at cons. Such incredible work he and his gang do.

Part of me was super upset they just put “Warhammer 40k”

Before you dog-pile below: the Switch is a fine console, you’re a fine person for enjoying it, but some people might be put off by its lack of exclusives and uncertain direction going forward from its initial success.

It’s a good bit of writing advice I once received: “Don’t point out a crack in the vase if you can’t fix it.”

Yeah, I’m not super interested in this phase of pop culture where we insist that everything must devour itself.

You are trying to compare two sepperate situations though. A lot of people want NEW games on their switch. Not games they own on 4 other systems. Switch had a very lackluster year full of ports. Some very good ports, but ports none the less and many of them ANCIENT by video game standards.

Ports always get derided, on

I don’t condone greed, but I also am not one who thinks it’s my job to tell Jeff Bezos what to do with his money.

This. So much this. It’s a shame I had to scroll so far down to find a comment like this. Why do news outlets think that problems will be fixed by endlessly badgering and relentless criticism? Proposing solutions and examples of good leadership are how you fix issues.

To be fair, Nascar emails are a bitch to read.

What does second place get, two years of free Busch beer?

*SPOILER*

Exactly, if a game is going to “Say Something” it had to commit, not just ask a question and wander away.

So where are your stats to provide a counter argument? All I see here is outrage and that’s not really constructive. If you disagree with how they read the stats, how about writing an article with your own detailed analysis and let’s take a look at them.
I am sure they would be enlightening.

It’s abysmal on XB1. I just bought the game on a whim 2 weeks ago (on sale for $9). I’ve only been able to play about 5 games of multiplayer total... and only the Heroes vs Villains and the Blast game modes. I’ve queued for Galactic Assault every day since purchase and only have a flatter ass to show for it. It

Yea, the burn was real. Not picking this up.

Destiny 2 - After you buy it twice, it might be as good as Destiny 1!
