I'm with you on this one.   It's a far departure from Fallout as we know, and love.  The very essence of the game was being a loner and self preservation.   Multiplayer has little place in this franchise.   It seems like they created problems and all these press releases are talk of how they are making them

Hard pass here too. I hate to see a series with incredibly good and deep single player games (and Fallout 4) go the lazy “throw all the players in a big sandbox and let them do all the work of making a game out of it” route.

Sounds like this might be fun for Rust and DayZ people so it looks like a pass for me, at least for the mean time.

I want no part of this at all. It is the diametric opposite of what I want from a fallout game. Wouldn't play it for free.

It still sounds quite interesting to me. I really want to see how it plays, it could be incredably boring or it could be the survival game I’ve always wanted. Maybe somewhere in the middle of those extremes, though?

Yeah, this spinoff is not really for me. I’ll wait for Fallout 5.

Agreed, there has been almsot no mention of what the heck there is to do. Since it is just you and other RL players, there are no NPCs for story.

Yeah that doesn’t sound fun in the slightest.

Trump didn’t win. Hillary lost. I voted for her. But the DNC caused all of this, with their myopia and arrogance.

It has been there a while, so...

Dream On!

Groupies would be 60 to 70 years old at this point

“Next into The Tank is an enthusiastic young man from South Africa who has built an electric car. He is looking for a 72 billion dollar investment from the sharks against a valuation of 84 billion dollars”

Hard to say if a tight, well crafted game loop is something a game “suffers” from.

There has to be counter protests to Nazis.”

Maaaaaannn, white people are gonna be upset when they find out Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn’t on this list...

Why not? Seems just as clean as electric without the terrible battery disposal and manufacturing problem.

Starred for use of the word “defenestration”.

I mean, that’s an interesting quote but I sort of think you have to look at the leading phrase “As democracy is perfected” to modulate this take a bit.
