I would have thought he would have been charged with a second degree somerassault.

I’m mad they didn’t do this too, but I have to admit I chuckled a bit at a self-described anarchist going on a rant that is essentially “The state needs to do something about this very pressing problem”.

I see your view, and to an extent I agree: there are political implications in everything. However, that doesn’t make every person’s choice inherently political in nature, it just makes those choices have political consequences. That checkers game our hypothetical person bought? Maybe they were motivated purely by a

Saying all creative works are political is like saying all plumbing jobs are political.

There’s a difference between deliberate political intent and applying your views onto what they’ve done.

So we agree that entrance was cringey as fuck right?

The stuff I got the most excited about were Cuphead (I play it on PC), Jump Force (Not an Xbox exclusive, it’ll probably come to PS4 or Switch and I’ll get it)

Me too. It’s like they took the essence of cyberpunk, but threw away the classic aesthetic (neon, japanese writing, perma-night, smog, rain) and went more with a modern version of a decadent city. It makes the game look really unique and cool as a result. In fact, it reminds me of a GTA setting, but futurized.

This is offensive. EA loves to keep reminding us of how they completely dismantled Westwood and continue to shit on C&C at every opportunity, don’t they?

This is a good thing. Why would any one want Valve to be the arbiter of what is decent. Just don’t interact with the stuff you don’t want to. I’m sure their personal filter stuff will be just fine.

This, 100%. I’ve thought for a long time that it would be best for all these sites to just allow whatever but have a system for cordoning off stuff that’s more likely to be offensive so that you have to choose to see it. That approach is way better than having the company decide what can and can’t be available at all.

Facebook and Twitter are both tying themselves in knots trying to police content, and they’re still failing and receiving criticism.

Good lord...if this sort of thing upsets you then you’ll have a heart attack when you find out about Civil War and WWII reenactments.

This is so stupid and authoritarian. This is like the makers of Sharpies and poster board having a fit because someone used them to make pro/anti abortion signs at a rally or used them to draw Swastikas. If people purchase your product or have a right to use it, let them do so up to the point where they break the law.
