This does sound like a very good interview. It’s a strange state of affairs when morning DJ’s and comedians are the ones best at questioning politicians rather than actual news media

A co-worker of mine recently said that Hillary is as bad as Trump, just better at hiding it. Hold me back, ladies. HOLD. ME. BACK.

And don’t forget who was the Secretary of State at the time - that’s right, the Corporate Democratic Whore in Chief herself, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

^ from my Twitter TL.

And frankly I can’t help but suspect that this suspicion of Hillary is part and parcel of the way that society sees women as distrustful and deceptive. It is hard not to see it as gendered in its essence.

My 20-something cousin posted yet another article claiming that Clinton is a “centrist Republican.” I asked her to explain Bernie’s repeated votes against the Brady Bill, his vote in favor of funding the war in Iraq and the F-35 jet contract he secured for Vermont to make sure they got some of that sweet, sweet blood

This is an amazing comment. The only thing I would add to it is that most abortion regulations are local. Hillary Clinton is working with the DNC to fund more state-level candidates - the ones who will actually make a bigger difference in people’s lives.

Women can’t afford to just look at the White House. That won’t

This is a really weak and disappointing article, especially in comparison to how gawker and jez covered the ‘cpt’ joke.

She also introduced 8 pieces of legislation with the clear purpose of expanding and protecting reproductive rights. Sanders has a good voting record, so what?

Trying to act like Song wasn’t intimating that Clinton was the whore of which he was speaking becomes kinda hard when his full quote is taken into context.

I am very sorry for using the term “whore” to refer to some in congress who are beholden to corporations and not us. It was insensitive.

Right— how horrible was Song’s non-apology? It was basically “I’m sorry you whores were offended”.

Not to hijack this discussion, but the most fascinating part of this for me is watching Bernie supporters defend this even after Bernie told them it was wrong.

For all the “it’s only Sanders supporters and Bernie Bros on the Internet saying offensive shit” Sanders surrogates sure do keep on saying dumb shit.

What is this nonsense article about someone referring to a specific female political candidate (I don't care if he denied it, he was referring to her) as a whore in front of thousands of people? You can do better than this, Jezebel. Come on.

Meanwhile, on Gawker, flagrantly sexist Bernie Bros are incensed that “corporate whores” (their words!) would DARE to call them sexists!

You're a fucking idiot if you think he wasn't talking about Hillary Clinton. Don't be a fucking idiot.

Cool thing of note. Paul Song’s wife is Lisa Ling. Lisa Ling’s sister was once kidnapped by North Korea. And you know who traveled to NK to secure her release? Bill fucking Clinton. Yep, the husband of the woman he just called a whore.

He blatantly called a Hillary a whore. Nice little article Joanna, claiming it's only a little thing. I hate to see Gawker throwing feminism by the wayside to not forcefully defend Hillary

I was super bummed when I heard that he said this. I’m so tired of people using words with negative connotations to refer to women’s sexuality. Dr. Song’s “apology” really comes off as a classic “it’s not my fault you got offended” non-apology usually reserved for Republican gaffes. Just disappointment at the casual
