A dwarf hamster is still a hamster.  It’s just smaller.

If we really want to focus on the challenges presented by gravity, then why stop at thrust? Anything evolved for such high gravity will likely suffer greatly in zero-g. Weightlessness might not be a viable option. But it hardly stops there. I think the lesson to remember is that when one door closes another one opens.

This is like the invention of the first cathode ray tube television screen. It’s cheap, effective, scalable, and primed for advancement. I want to know which flat screen company is going to develop this technology first. It’s a definite “buy” for those looking to invest. Samsung? Panasonic? Sony?

It’s not a lot of money for Google, and it doesn’t have to be set aside. Net income for 2015 was 16 billion. That’s after expenses. It’s all rolled into Alphabet now, so no numbers after 2015.

I bought Christmas gifts for 12 people. My wife asked me how many stores, other than Amazon, I shopped at. I said, “One. I got the Christmas cards at Target.”

It isn’t monthly. It’s annual: $99. You also get...

When he’s underwater does he get wet or does the water get him instead.

What if the goal isn’t theft, but colonization? By making our presence known, we give evidence that this star system supports life. What if the goal isn’t colonization, but slavery? We are a limited species, but there are 7 billion of us and we reproduce quickly. Our planet’s resources could be of use if we were the

Hey! What are you implying?

How would you even get down there? Jump? What about the equipment? Just wrap it in all bubble wrap and toss it over? How geologically stable is that rock ceiling? Could we seal the entrances and fill the void with breathable air?

Why would we want to work with the Russians in space any longer? Private industry is leaving them behind. The nation has a GDP less than the state of New York and has experienced tremendous brain drain ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union. They don’t land rockets on their tails and they aren’t going to any time

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

It seems to me the comments here really only prove verrit’s narrative. Americans voted for Hillary by a multi million vote majority, but you speak as if that majority doesn’t exist.

No diagrams of the clockwork logic mechanisms. How large of a swiss watch would one need to build a semi-autonomous robot? It’s a fascinating idea with absolutely no substance behind it. What is the single most complex clockwork we’ve built to date? The research into more durable circuitry looks a lot more

“Though dinosaurs and crocodiles have the common ancestor with the archosaur, they evolved separately.”

There will be at least one human who leaves the solar system. Alive? No... not alive.

There are two likely possibilities, both of which could be legit. Either it leaked away thru a crack, or was it STOLEN. Let us assume it didn’t leak away. Why steel metallic hydrogen? What could you do with it?

How many asked the same question of electricity? Today, we ask such questions on the internet.
