It’s not.
It’s not.
That’s a lot of self loathing you have there. Might need to see a doctor.
How can it be we called these people racists and bigots we mocked and belittled these people for years and they didn’t vote for our side. I can’t believe it.
Your whining like a bitch is great stuff keep it up
Clowns to the left of me. People shouting Puto to the right.
Your pathetic
Columbus is a decidedly bright blue square in the middle of a sea of red. If anything, instead of seeing the game here as a “Trump-ist slap in the face”, try to see a vibrant, diverse, supportive community coming together while being assailed on all sides by ignorance.
Was more in love with Kelly LeBrock.
I was a teamster for 7 years. Unions exist for one purpose only, and that is to make money for their leadership. Labor unions in this country have victimized workers more than any other entities.
mmmm... Rebecca De Mornay.
What about the millions of middle class people who just got their health care renewals over the last month and saw everything go up? My wife’s went up $100 a month and all her deductibles nearly doubled. Putting that burden on the middle class makes sense...
That still doesn’t explain anything here. What did the Obama administration do to stem the rise of income inequality? The jobs added under his administration contained a lot of crappy, low-paying work that if anything added to the growing wealth gap.
Now that the election is over...is she just going to go away? Please?
Ya that was the first line that stood out to me too. You can be against Trump all you want (and rightly so), but don’t tweak your editorial to make it look like Obama did things he didn’t. It just makes you look disingenuous.
Has gawker ever considered hiring an actual economist to talk about these things. I like HamNo’s enthusiasm but his poor grasp on economics and finance kind of undermine his points
“Four years from now, the labor movement will either be resurgent with the energy and power of thousands of newly organized members; or it will be a depleted shell, left behind as people searching for answers look elsewhere.”
The divide between the rich and the poor in America has been rising since the Reagan era. The Obama administration had some modest success against it.
There’s so much rhetoric in your comment that you sound like a Hillary surrogate, complete with citing her “experience” and drawing contrast with Trump where there’s little distinction. I’m not convinced either was a good choice for the country, so you’ve wasted your time.
I agree. Generally, people greatly exaggerate the impact of every election. If the world were going to collapse because Politician X or Party X won an election, the world would have ended a long time ago.
People are greatly exaggerating the impact of this election.
