That's absolutely the truth here as well. Last month I was looking for an apartment closer to work and when the 51 year-old me shows up to view the place, landlords were practically begging me to move in.

Same with my previous landlord unless a true emergency (leaking roof during a major thunder storm, broken or inactive water heater, etc.). It was a family-run business, and usually the phone call to schedule maintenance or repair was delivered by the landlord's Mother (!).
