The SWAT officer who pulled the trigger is to blame. The person who called the fake incident into the police is to blame. The person who passed along the victim’s address is to blame.

I don’t know. Disney/Marvel is clearly planning for the future here... getting their army of infinite internet monkeys working on that MCU #99 script right now!!
The Dr. Who example is really a poor one; the aspect of new faces is written into the character.
“Marvel and Tap Tap also clearly state that the content created with the service belongs to them and that users’ creations may be periodically reviewed to make sure that they aren’t in violation of the terms of use.”
nope, I got it. both points in fact. you use the term “wypo” to describe yourself and that is all I need to know. goodbye
the participation trophy generation needs everyone everywhere to accept them no matter what. guess what, that is not how it works. that is not how any of this works.
this exactly. if you are dressed somewhat appropriately and act accordingly then I fail to see any issue.
so where is the issue? they didn’t want a mohawked asshole in their bar and you probably didn’t want to be there anyway. Sounds like you found a place properly suited for a mowhawk and cargo shorts. why the anger?
Maybe just don’t dress like a loser and you won’t have anything to worry about? Try taking a little pride in your personal appearance.
Sorry, but is this the same She-Hulk that was working under the title Hulk? Where she didn’t hulk out for the first six issues? Where the usual happy go lucky gal we’ve loved for 30 years was all mopey and insecure? Where after 12 issues they changed the title back to She-Hulk and numbered it 159?
I don’t think there’s any orchestrated effort to remove diversity from the Marvel roster. The fact is that most of these books just don’t do as well in sales as ones featuring white male characters, and that sucks.
What happened to the great military comics? Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commands showed up piecemeal in the Captain America Movie just once. That was nice to see. They even changed Nick Fury’s race! But the great art and stories of those bygone comics seems lost forever. It is almost as if “someone” wanted to “calm…
The New Yorker magazine has a excellent article about the “Diversity Fatigue” debate. I agree with the author that it’s just a scapegoat.
I’ve been to El Centro (not in sneakers, however) and it’s a great place. But the crowd definitely skews white.
If you cant figure out how to use a belt to keep your pants from falling down then you are not ready for dining in public. Too many tricky situations that can spin out of control.
Fashion profiling? Wrong. Terribly wrong.
But, hey, LOTS OF TUMBLR POSTS.
The thing with Marvel’s “diversity” comics is that more often than not they’re not about super heroes who are women or belong to a minority group; they are about someone from a minority who happens to be a super hero.
simply telling a good story should be enough. telling us it’s good because it’s “diversity” isn’t going to make it true, if it’s not. some of the books being cancelled may be good, and not fit the criteria i am referencing, but sadly, people won’t notice because Marvel as a whole became a crapfest, and people bailed.…
The majority of people who clamor for diversity have never bought a comic, nor will they ever buy a comic. What really sucks is that there are people who do buy comics that could use a healthy dose of diversity, but they’re avoiding these gems...
