Tell me more about how amazing your life is.
I agree with a lot of what you said but there is one thing shown in that short film which bothered me. They show the ship warping in above The Engineers homeworld. If the ship is capable of FTL travel why not just go back to Earth? Then, you know, she wouldn’t have to die and all that.
“It doesn’t come from a place of malice, but a place of learning.”
Yes, all religions are the same. My God, you nailed it.
Agreed. I like BotW. Hell, I’m playing BotW currently, and I still think BotW gets waaay too much coverage on here.
I actually think “Fatty McFat” is better than “Chunk Widebody”.
Cool it with the ad hominem bullshit. I attacked your argument, not you. Learn how to debate correctly or fuck off.
Scientology is a cult. That fact that you’re unable to make the distinction between a religion and a cult pretty much destroys the credibility of your argument.
and yet here you are commenting. Hmm...
When I was young and poor I used to make spaghetti sandwiches, mainly because I ate a lot of spaghetti and wanted to switch it up. It’s basically exactly what it sounds like; spaghetti and sauce between two pieces of bread. The trick is to toast the bread lightly and butter both sides. This keeps the sauce from…
Well, well, well...looks like we’ve got a self-proclaimed expert here. Let me tell you something kiddo, your opinions are not indisputable facts. You’re replying in a thread where more than half of the people are saying they didn’t like the joke and you’re argument is “many of us liked it therefore you’re wrong”?…
Enjoyment isn’t the issue. That’s not even part of the conversation. The issues are tone & execution. Tonally, it was completely out of place with the clever humor in the film. It was also poorly executed, with no setup and no other jokes like that in the film.
It was the way they executed it. The joke came out of nowhere and felt really out of place. Clearly there are a lot of people who felt the same way judging by the comments.
“Yeah but... the pun is brilliant. The hero gets the girl in the end.”
“The Kingsman are forced to go to America and team up with the U.S. version of the organization, the Statesman including Jeff Daniels, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry.”
I’m sure they’ll address that in the film.
I strongly disagree. Channing Tatum is a terrible dramatic actor but he has serious comedic chops. He was excellent in the 21 Jump Street movies.
“I just don’t see why people are getting pre-emptively mad at something that may or may not happen.”
Where do you live? I remember my friends talking about it in the mid ‘90s.
