This is great! I haven’t laughed this hard all day :-D
“It’s Black Beauty Bloggers/Vloggers that helped get Shea Moisture where it is now.”
“Black Women are directly responsible for SheaMoisture’s success and now they’re not even gonna advertise directly to us? Ain’t that some shit.”
Yeah, I don’t actually think they’ll stick with WW II forever. The real point I was making is that this move was clearly a reaction to IW, so they’ve gone back to what they know their core fanbase wants.
Considering how strict Facebook and Instagram are regarding nudity it does surprise me a little how much porn Twitter allows.
“I agree that the decrease in quality is not noticeable by most people, but CD bitrate is about 4 or 5 times MP3. Sony quotes it as 1400kbps.”
Yeah, it’s not so much that the weapons break, it’s how quickly they break. Most weapons last for one or two enemies at the most. That’s ridiculous. Minecraft has a degrading weapon system but a good one will last quite a while.
You’re right about everything here except saying an MP3 is “much lower quality than even a CD”. Back in the Napster days when everyone was trading 192 kbps files yeah, I’d agree. But 320 kbps MP3's or 256 kbps AAC files are pretty darn close to CD’s. The drop in quality is so small most people can’t even tell the…
Fair enough. I didn’t realize it was so common.
I was just using Europe as an example. I live in California.
It’s mainly a cultural thing. Most countries haved a mixed economy with both capitalist and socialist ideals but you won’t see this attitude in Europe, for example.
I say the all of the time! It’s too true.
Yep. Horizon’s story and gameplay were both incredibly immersive. I’m just not getting that same feeling with Zelda. I don’t have any compelling reason to care about Link or his world, and as a result I don’t have a strong reason to care about what I’m doing in the game.
Well I can see there’s no sense trying to reason with you. Carry on then.
It doesn’t need to be a 1:1 comparison. We’re talking about how much we’re enjoying the game, so the level of enjoyment is the only thing we’re measuring here. Zelda just isn’t hooking me the way I hoped it would.
“I can’t even count the number of times I’ve accidentally hit someone in the face with my carryon while walking down a plane’s aisle.”
“Carry-on luggage to passenger head collisions are common. I think I have bonked a passenger once. I have been bonked several times.”
This is the exact same feeling I have. I just finished Horizon Zero Dawn the day before starting Breath of the Wild and I think that has a lot to do with it. Like, when I got to the part in Zelda where they give you the first big info dump and tell you what’s really going on I was like, “....okayy?”. I didn’t care.
Ha! I just spent a good half hour last night doing this! So funny.
