Imagine the line at the deli counter with the kid trying to cut this 20 times though?

I’m currently on a family plan for four at 6GB, and I think I actually come out ahead a bit. Taxes and fees will kill some of it, for sure, but I think I might still be able to save close to $30/month or so.
I tried explaining this to my then-gf one night when the topic of loans came up. She just couldn’t understand how it could be more advantageous to invest and just pay off the loan little by little instead of going whole hog.
Tangentially related: For anyone using an SP3, do you know how to get the onboard mic to work? I had issues with the sound card post-upgrade, so I had to roll back the driver so the speakers would work, but Cortana still isn’t understanding what I’m saying when I go to make her only work with my voice.
I constantly hear something pitter-pattering over my head in the attic when it rains. NOPENOPENOPENOPE. This project will take a lot longer than an afternoon.
Groove doesn’t seem to be able to play more than a few seconds of any song I ask it to play. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying.
Yeah, I’m not seeing the problem here..
I second this. It took me a bit longer, but nothing went haywire, and I’m happy so far. There was a minor issue with my sound card suddenly disappearing after plugging in a set of headphones, but it wasn’t anything a reboot couldn’t fix.
Yeah, no argument there. SooC will almost always be better for most shots. Still better than nothing. I just shot the NYC fireworks and Dehaze took out a lot of residual smoke that was reflecting back at me. Made for “sharper” bursts, and I didn’t have to spend time cloning out and carving around the smoke for…
The new Dehaze feature in LR actually works pretty well.
I was about to say, “this is a trick question, you NEVER use a filter”, because I thought you were referring to Instagram and the like.
No kidding. When I went through my GAS phase, I acquired a bunch of lighting equipment, thinking I’d use it. Nope. 99% of it has sat on my shelf outside of the one or two instances where I needed it. I only pull out the white canvas and an OCF when I need to shoot product shots to sell my other camera gear.
Eh, potato, potahto. Whatever floats your boat, I won’t begrudge you your preference.
Yeah, no. No weddings for me. I don’t want to lose any(more) hair, nor do I want it going gray prematurely. I planned a shot list for a former friend of mine, and that was enough. Tangentially related: She went with someone else (not a big deal to me, since I knew she was looking at cost), but she asked me for the…
I can deal with the variable and unpredictability. It brings out the creative in me, and it makes me happy when I get the shot I want, just as it makes someone else happy they got it using a strobe. To each their own.
This is why I prefer natural light. This is just wayyy too much stuff to carry and keep track of. I might be limiting myself as far as lighting is concerned, but my shooting is more mobile and not as dependant on artificial lights anyway.
I live in a small town in NJ and it was pretty much a right of passage for all the kids to get one either a Trans Am or a Mustang (the more well-heeled parents got their brats Bimmers and Escalades, but that’s besides the point). Even then, they looked and ran like POS.
More like Top Gun trophy.
How does one get, let alone maintain, an erection from bigoted tears?
