To this day I will never understand what the hell that was. Was he happy he’d found a “partner” that would keep him youthful re: Hollywood? Was he performing for the audience and forgot cameras were there? This was around the time it was rumored he’d be doing a Bollywood-type movie with Aishwarya Rai so maybe he was

Remake of Overboard!? With alleged dog dumper Anna Faris?

Those were mood stabilizers you were seeing...Allegedly.

Oh....That makes sense. Thanks!

I thought it was just me...And I don’t mean to judge, but the whole thing gave me the creeps.

Thank you for trying to break it down, but I still don’t understand.

I’ll go back and do my Googles, but if he already resigned, were the interns cleaning up/Cleaning out his office? Why did he still have interns?

THIS!!!!! I came here JUST for this story! Please repeat it everyone you know. Yes he allegedly wasn’t there, but years of watching “Scandal” have me looking at him and his abrupt resignation after with the side-eye.

Thank you for this; My day has been made better.

+1 and all the stars for this thread. Ms. Brown-Sanders probably approves too.

I would say Philadelphia a very close 2nd re: “provincial” big cities. If anyone cared enough, they’d be floored by the racism. But to be fair they hate people from out of town, children, animals, Santa, themselves. Everything.

THIS all day + A Billy Club to the knee!!! (“But at least the snow was shoveled and schools opened on time under Mayor Daley.”)

I’m a person of color and when she made those vague statements about police shootings on unarmed Black Men AND the “Nancy Reagan was an AIDS advocate” thing I knew it was over. She was trying to pander to groups of people who hated her guts and I realized in those moments she was tone deaf and totally disconnected

Great point! And having one’s picture taken (even candid family shots) was an occasion. People dressed for it and looked as dignified as possible. I wonder what they would think of all the random photos we take today?

Because legally an MD can only do a certain amount of fillers and injectables on a patient in a month. People become “addicted” to injectables and start doctor shopping or worse.

Thank you for posting this! I love/hate this story.

Because photographers of the period were often apprentices for years learning proper techniques and genuine craft. Plus dark room development, etc.

Sorry, but it’s true. Isn’t it weird when you see old wedding photos and some of the brides are straight up pregnant?
