Depends on what kind of curry, but I think Japanese curries have a roux base (flour and oil), whereas Indian curries are either water or cream-based. I think the spices used are still the typical “curry” spices—I’ve read a couple recipes that use garam masala, turmeric, mustard, etc.

What about curry? I always have trouble figuring out when that’s gone bad. And figuring out if there’s a difference in refrigerator lifetime of cream based curries (like typical Indian curries) vs Japanese curries (roux based)

So I’m still relatively new to Spotify—how do I find that playlist in Spotify? I don’t have Premium.

I’m not entirely opposed to that, though before they implement that, they need to fix the whole thing about how penalties aren’t reviewable, otherwise this whole thing is going to end up stupid and useless again.

I think his point is that there’s too much gray area in all the penalties covered by “unsportsmanlike penalties”, that a hard number is too weak a rule to enforce. For example, Aqib Talib in the Super Bowl should have been ejected after that one unsportsmanlike penalty where he tried to rip off Corey Brown’s (or Ted

It’s the best when the announcers embrace it:

I definitely don’t think you’re the only one who was saved by video games—I know a very prominent Starcraft 2 caster was in a pretty similar boat. Really cool to see video games help people this way.

I thought the Channing Frye signing was weird, too. I can’t see a reasonable GM thinking that’s the right move to make, but I can see why Lebron would think that more catch-and-shoot guys might help. Still, Chaning Frye is literally the opposite of an enforcer, so I’m not sure I buy this theory either.

Damn kids and their Tweeter and their Oober. Back in the day, we had to drive OURSELVES home drunk, and that built CHARACTER. You don’t see kids as HARD and TOUGH as we were. We didn’t have no Tweeter and Vine and Giffies, if we wanted to rewatch something again, daggonit we had to invent ourselves a TIME MACHINE

This wouldn’t work with cloth shoes like Chucks, right? And with leather shoes, would you need to be worried about drying/cracking the leather?

At least Howard Schultz tried to do this to the Sonics discreetly. Fuck, sorry Chargers fans.

On Amazon, I’ve seen International and U.S. editions of this camera. Can anybody go through the differences between these two versions, if there are any?

He will never, ever, ever have an extramarital affair!

Hey, that’s the University of Chicago! Where we used to get the Friday before Valentine’s Day off for “College Break”, also known colloquially “Suicide Prevention Day”, because we were all anti-social and terrible at dating!

I have an Ally Savings and CD, because of their awesome rates, but what’s the advantage of opening a checking account with them?

I haven’t heard of Smartypig before. What is it? Is it similar to Ally?

On a related question—what’s the best place to keep an emergency fund? A savings account? A second checking account? Guessing it’s not in a mutual fund or anything that’d take a couple days to withdraw from, but I’m curious as to how people manage that. I don’t think I’d want it with the rest of my savings, but I’d

That happened to me. “So you’re from Chicago. Why do you want to move to Columbus, OH?”

I’ll give that sealing the edges a shot, I shouldn’t have much to lose since it’s so cheap. Where would you buy thick cork boards?

Perfect timing! I’m trying to figure out a way to block noise from the kitchen from coming into the bedroom. I think the doors are hollow, so from what I’ve read, I need to add some sort of mass to the door to help block the sound, since sealing the edges probably won’t help too much. What’s a cheap way to do this?
