Definitely one of the most exciting races so far this year. The second half was full of drama and heartache for some, but absolute joy for others. As a neutral, it was incredible to watch.

I, too, hold a special hatred for the Ford Probe. It was my mom’s, not my, experience that caused it though.
Very close to his. Smiley’s was more head on but it’s scary how similar the two were in where/how the crash started.
Just out of curiosity, what exactly is the point of having the extra power when it can’t be used during the actual race?
Fun fact: In 1959 the Skyliner carried both the Fairlane 500 and Galaxie badges as it was dubbed a Galaxie for ‘59 model year.
Meanwhile, in the EFL.....
I mean, he was 17 at that time. Definitely better than some of the dumb shit older people put on Twitter.
My wife and I love road trips.
Cars on a closed course crashing into each other while racing for the win. What could possibly go wrong?
I would say a lot of people probably thought that about my wife and I when we drove from Mississippi to Las Vegas for our honeymoon, but then again it is Vegas.
Hey, I know where that is! I live down in Hattiesburg, MS and have passed the exit there on 20 heading through AL many times.
Neat. You’re only the third person I have come across on here who lives/has lived in MS. I’ve lived here all my life (unfortunately) in Hattiesburg and another guy lives up by Tupelo.
When you’re a scrapyard worker but racing is life
It’s funny you say that. I see it like this. We as Americans bitch about how we can’t cool cars from Europe over here until they are 25 years old. Europeans bitch about how they can’t get cool cars because they are ungodly expensive. It’s like nobody wins and it’s sad.
Why buy a new TT RS when you can have (insert a number of manual 400hp or there abouts rwd or awd vehicles here) instead?!?!
Pretty much. You got to see the beginnings of a tornado. That’s about it.
Yeah. You can see it briefly as it passes by the driver side of the vehicle. Very weak at that point. That obviously isn’t inside it, though.
As an amateur storm chaser and tornado nerd, the events of this week really hit home for me.
Brown diesel Mercedes wagon with a manual.
