it’s even weirder for me as I’ve never read the book or seen the other adaptations. So I’m coming into this blind, which I’m fine with, but when the review continues to pop that in my face it does nothing but curb me from the review itself.

Girls became likable and popular because it was real. The characters WERE bland and uninteresting, which perfectly describes every white chick in Brooklyn. So in that sense, it was the ultimate reality show.
