it’s even weirder for me as I’ve never read the book or seen the other adaptations. So I’m coming into this blind, which I’m fine with, but when the review continues to pop that in my face it does nothing but curb me from the review itself.

I just finished episode 3. The first two episodes are crazy boring and predictable. I turned on the third one with the premise that it was 15 minutes to give me SOMETHING, and it did. Episode 3 finally gave us an interesting character and backstory. I have no idea if the rest is going to be good, but I can tell you

The episode relies, maybe too much, on flashing back to the Crain family’s youth.

you KNOW you are on the right side of history

yes

honestly seems to be enjoying the sport of it all:

cuz he is

you really need to get a friend

the pre-Kinja AV Club too.

did he say anything about grooming high school girls or hanging with noted racist Connor McGregor? Or would you prefer he get a pass on those fucked up things now because his name isn’t Kanye?

well The Beast’s objective in Split was to kill those that were unpure, which is why he killed those two other girls and not the one... so with that he should just kill Mr. Glass right away.

I don’t partake in some of the echo chamber discussions here. When you have dissenting points of view on a couple topics on this site, the regulars who are still salty about the commenting system changing over just call you a “troll.” I’m not the only one they do it to. It’s essentially the same 5-6 people... and then

you’re right. No one here is going to agree with you because.... REASONS!!!!... but you’re right

“That’s what they want. So they just picked that title. They don’t give a shit about me and my movie.”

There used to be a long-time bakery in Manhattan’s Upper East Side around 79th and 1st Ave that made the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had. They sold them for $.75 each. Just that amazing taste of butter, perfect crisp outside and soft inside. It was incredible. It was run by an old couple and they closed shop

it’s not that good. He did an “experiment” once where he sold a bunch of his stuff as a vendor alongside Central Park at the same price as other artists there (so, cheap). No one knew it was his. I think he sold one item? All the other artists with skill and talent also selling there far outsold him. Then he went on

it doesn’t get more white than continuing to suck off Banksy. Please stop. This is gettin kind of sad.

good, now stop talking about him as a James Bond.

Girls became likable and popular because it was real. The characters WERE bland and uninteresting, which perfectly describes every white chick in Brooklyn. So in that sense, it was the ultimate reality show.

In partial defense of Dunham
