Even if $40k means that it is has 306HP N/A V6 and weights 3400lbs?

Nissan's explicit goal was to make the Z profitable. This is why it's built on a recycled Infiniti chassis using the engine out of a G35. If Toyota emulates Nissan, then the new Supra will be an IS350 coupe.

Most people don't have that kind of disposable income until their in their 50s, which is why the median age of a luxury car buyer is so damn high. So we have another 20 years before the F&F will be able to afford these.

130 with the 1ZZ, 180 with the 2ZZ. 100HP/L was pretty impressive when it was released in 99. It's acceleration was comparable to other sport compacts, but its handling was way, way better.

I'm confused, the official name of the FJ Cruiser is Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Yeah, the RX-8 chassis was great, it was the wankel that held the car back. If they rebirthed the chassis with a newer turbocharged engine would be awesome. Better gas mileage and performance than the wankel, while still being one fo the best handling cars on the market.

Boring Camry v6? That fucker makes north of 300HP N/A in the IS350.

The MR2 was great, but really expensive. The last gen Celica was a pure sports car (2600lbs, double wishbone suspension, 6MT, 8200RPM redline) and it didn't do very well. Toyota does know how to make a great sports car, but people don't really appreciate them.

The Supra name could come back. That's a huge deal. Frankly, Toyota is stupid not to bring it back. There's a ton of equity in that name, especially among people who grew up in the 1990s and lusted after them back then. It means a lot to buyers from that generation, myself included.

With under 14k units sold, they are pretty rare cars, so it doesn't take too much demand to keep the prices high.

Those times seem unrealistic. Considering that you're saying that a Mach 1 is basically as fast as a brand new 5.0. There's no way a stock Mach 1 is keeping up with a Mustang that has over 100 HP and 60ft.lb advantage on it.

What a cool looking car! I thought it was produced in the late 80s/early 90s, so I was amazed to find out that it's from 1963.

It was built in America and sold by an American company, and designed in conjunction with an American company.

Most people confused them with Grand Am/Prix. They have already been largely forgotten, even among enthusiasts because of the reintroduction of the Camaro.

Well, the manufactures' original warranty must be honored until it expires, even if the car has transferred ownership. The CPO warranty is largely seen as an extension of the original warranty, so it makes sense that it would follow the same laws.

At Stanford, and most other US colleges, Computer Science is considered to be part of the school of engineering and is accredited by ABET. Graduates from these schools meet all of the necessary requirements to take the FoE exam and become licensed as a Professional Engineer. There is just no value in being licensed

To Brin's mind, not just cars, but car ownership is inefficient, wasteful, and dangerous. They take up too much space, use too many resources, and, listening to Brin, are an unconscionable blight on society.

What's a GDA?

A bloated, ridiculously fast land whale. The interior is nice though, especially with the Recaros.

A six-pack is my vote too.
