They've improved the handling a lot over time. The early ones were like driving a bouncy castle, but the newer ones have a much better suspension setup and are pretty potent on the track.

They will fix that next year when they offer the ///M Sport Icon Package — Adds 18 more ///M badges, telling people that you drive The Ultimate Driving Machine.

Why the GT and not the EcoBoost, considering they'd have the same engines? The GT is going to perform better by every measure.

20PSI during overboost though, it's like 16 or so nominally. Then there are supporting factors to consider, such as intercooler size & placement, plumbing strength, exhaust flow, emissions, gasket strength, etc. You have to remember that "only 6 more psi" is a 30% increase over an amount that the car is only

One of the more popular discussions on most Mustang forums is "Focus ST or V6 'Stang." The ST is one of the best cars on the market and the V6 'Stang is the fastest sub 30k car in the C&D Lightning Lap. People looking for performance will seriously consider both of them.

Why not just buy the STI?

Well, the Mercedes engine pushes something insane, like 2 bar of boost. Ford isn't going to be able to do that on 87 octane.

Holy shit, I hope Ford manages to make you whole.

I cross-shopped them and from what I hear, I wasn't the only one. There are a significant number of Mustang owners who tried out the Focus ST. Anybody who's driven both will attest that the ST is more fun to drive. The Mustang wins from a pure numbers perspective, as it is faster in every objective measure, but

That's completely wrong. I've owned four turbocharged cars and every one of them was geared where 70MPH was spot on peak torque. My WRX could run 65-90 in a bit over 5 seconds in fifth gear (I have it on video).

People would bitch that it doesn't come as a wagon.

That's where a turbocharged petrol engine shines too.

Diesel engines have the worst possible powerband for acceleration. It goes a something like: no power, no power, no power, weeeeeeee, no power, shift, weeeeee, no power...

The petrol engine will outperform the diesel in all acceleration figures (except for top-gear acceleration). Diesel engines suck unless they have a significant amount of displacement; a 2.0L diesel will never be a screamer, they just can't handle the necessary RPMs.

I was hoping that they would ditch the retro look. While the current Camaro looks great, it's been over 16 years since the New Beetle and I feel like RetroFuturism is a bit played out. They should design the Camaro to be a modern, world-class performance that isn't stuck recycling its heritage. Designers can think

A base model Civic can brake from 60MPH in 118ft.

Image how much more livable space that there would be if we didn't have to dedicate so much space to roads and parking.

Bullshit. Car dealerships flat out refuse to match prices from other dealerships. I've purchased two new cars this year and had the same exact experience: the price they post online is pretty much what the car costs. Toyota fucked around a little bit, but no Ford dealership that I visited bothered to negotiate.

Where's the turbo K-engine Dodge Caravan? Turbocharged? Check. Man-tran? Check. Capable of a 12s quarter mile pass? With a some cheap mods: check.
