Only an idiot would say that. GM was King in those days. People love GM cars of that era and collectors are doing their best to restore those old GM vehicles.

It was pretty clear this system was deeply flawed when people were posting YouTube videos driving around for over 10 minutes without even touching the steering wheel. This at a time that level 2 autonomy systems from other manufacturers would start shouting at you after 30 seconds and stop by the side of the road with

I really hope this puts an end to the argument that there’s nothing inherently wrong with the design of Tesla’s Autopilot... Oh what the hell am I even saying; it’s probably unlikely that there’s anything factual that will ever satisfy the Musk Gang.

Tesla is weird in how they’ve fallen in terms of styling. We’ll ignore the first Tesla Roadster, given that it wasn’t Tesla’s design. Then:

To be fair, most truck owners don’t actually use them as trucks, don’t need a truck, and only want one to look tough or tow a trailer once every five years. So, does it really matter if it fully functions as a truck if it’s never used as a truck? (Don’t get me wrong, like all Teslas, the Cybertruck is hideous.)

I have always hated the Cybertruck. It looks like it was designed by a committee of people who had never used a truck before and have never had an actual need of one, for people who don’t actually want a pickup truck to begin with.

This is what I want for the Apocalypse

Whoever has the best EV battery will dominate the EV market. So far GM is the one with their new Ultium battery. GM is ahead in many other ways, but they don’t brag like Tesla does. GM is on the verge of letting the world know who is really ahead. Elon Musk has got to be afraid and I’m sure he’ll throw some more BS

Here we have what I call a cult follower. No matter the lies and mistakes Elon makes, cult followers will find excuse for their leader.

If I needed a ventilator in the hospital, I would not want one manufactured by the Tesla company. I’d much rather have one made by GM.

Tesla is at the point where it still needs him. He’s the best hypeman for Tesla, no one cares about and is so invested in Tesla as much as he is. If you take out Musk now it’ll be likely it won’t survive all this and will probably be bought out by a larger manufacturer. Musk though will do anything to keep Telsa alive

Oh sorry, the app said you have 13 days of ventilator time remaining but those hours expired and we just forgot to update your balance. Please provide a valid credit car to continue use.

First Gear:

Musk is the very definition of failing upwards. It seems virtually everything he has done has turned into a fiasco of some sort, but due to his shameless self promotion he still manages to get people to give him money nonetheless. Thank god for Article Two and the Natural Born Citizen Clause, or he’d probably end up

Just imagine, the 3rd generation Tesla X could be a Tahoe with a grill removed.

Yes, I think we can live without Elon Musk. I think we should be used to the shuck and jive man’s tactic of promising the world, barely delivering if at all and then what does come from him is sub par.

And lo, Musk delivers his wares of vapor! Gaze upon his glory and weep, for tho is not worthy.” -Tesla, Book of Musk: 4:15

Totally. Panel gaps would be a huge issue on something that needs to be airtight.

Neutral:

It could be worse.  Tesla could be MANUFACTURING the ventilators.  That would be a REAL sh*tshow.
