You have a wild imagination.

On the other hand, if this is ready during President Oprah’s term, will she give one to every American?

I think the SR-72 or something very much like it has been in operation since the turn of the century. When has the military ever retired an asset without having an improved system to take its place?

The question was asked to the owner if he’d would have bought the car if GM had built it, and the answer was “absolutely”. I don’t believe that. If GM had built it, there would not be much praise, because that’s how it is. GM today has some of the greatest cars out there and does not get the praise it deserves!

I think you could argue that those 3 cars it was very clear where the speedo was, and it was still in line of sight to the road. The Model 3 is in a small corner of a busy screen.

Yeah I agree. If all those other options listed are available, why not a HUD? I mean for the turn signals alone...

HUD’s cost money? I can’t think of a reason why it doesn’t have one otherwise, but it is odd to not even OFFER one as an option.

I don’t mind the interior, but I don’t like the glass roof and I’d want some kind of display in front of me, even if it’s just a HUD for speed and battery life.

I can’t sit this next to any other optioned $50k car (like this one cost) and after sitting in each justify buying this car. That interior would depress me. Using the touch screen on my current car while driving to do something is frustrating enough, having to do everything that way is terrible. How does this car not

If you’re dealing with 90% defect rate across all lines the problem has absolutely nothing to do with hourly workers.

I want to believe in Tesla, I really do. But, it’s the possibility of crap like this, along with Musk’s absurd tendency to massively over-promise and under-deliver, that will either cause them to fully restructure, or collapse.

I’ve toured the factory and it’s a beautiful work of art and the conditions look great. It may be the cleanest and most polished factory I’ve ever very seen.

Considering the reported injuries and poor working conditions, it seems like unionization would benefit the workers in this case.

Next move for Elon Musk, move the gigafactory to his country of birth (he hates the place) or Mexico (the wall)

They couldn’t do worse. There’s no way Tesla meets their Model 3 delivery schedule if those things are being hand assembled.

They say Tesla is the way of the future. Didn’t know it was the dystopian future out of “Metropolis” (1927).

He may find it a benefit to work with the UAW. Now I am no fan of unions but in this case they may be able to help him actually build his vehicles on time and better.

The Ford garage where I live is loaded with new trucks. Why they say Ford can not make enough is a myth.

...and then you woke up.

I think Ford really screwed the pooch with the ecoboost. Cost more than a V8 and gets worse mileage. Sure its fast but at what expense. Terrible mileage no better than the V8 it replaced
