I don’t feel like The Departed belongs on this list that movie actually rules.

I was just joking. We’re definitely of the same mind.

We’re saying the same thing but somehow you’re saying it like you’re disagreeing.

Jesus Chris I wish there was an option on this site to just ignore certain writers.

I did go back to google now because I was embarrassed I couldn’t remember Ochai Agbaji’s name. Christian Braun yessss...he was annoying.

Kevin McCullar Jr, KJ Adams, who was the white guy...Steve....something Kohn...no......Dajuan Harris, I forget his first name but Yessifu.

He already had won a national title.

Honestly, if they had limited it to “The elders are faking the monsters to control the kids” it would have been fine including “And it’s in modern times!” was the bridge too far.

I would worry Mick is a little needy and might come off cloying in a real thing but I 100% agree with you he’s the best to ever do it on the mic and with his character performances in match.

What I found surprising is that in the wrestling realm I thought CM Punk was one of the better “actors” as far as the in between stuff to sell feuds but in the one movie I saw him in (The Girl on the Third Floor) he gave one of the worst screen performances I’ve ever seen. Batista is definitely great and I hope to see

About 20% of the action is in a literal high school and 100% of the movie is about adjusting to post high school life for two friends going to college. It is in every meaningful sense “a high school” movie.

They were also on that Netflix tv show The Ranch like 8 years ago...maybe less?

It’s not emotional abuse to be more famous than someone else and not give them what they want.

One was a heavy D drama and the other was a light and fun movie. In truth it’s impossible to say which one is better because they’re trying to do such different things. In practice we’re all killing time till we die so why not busy ourselves with pointless debates with no real answers.

A lot of people have really decided that any behavior they don’t like should literally be illegal. Win Butler is a dick. A groupie thinking they were in a relationship and being wrong isn’t abuse.

Especially because there’s a few throwaway lines that seemed designed to show certain people were “on the good side” even though they’re not really involved. “Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner were VERY helpful with names and numbers,” “He had a meeting with Scorsese WHO HATED HIM, so it was a big deal for Harvey.” Just

They’re still doing them! Respect hit all the beats.

To me the making out was very brief and felt like establishing them as an actual couple who gets hot for each other rather than the typical Hollywood portrayal of a gay couple that’s typically very chaste lest it scare the straights. I thought it was good representation! It felt surprising in the moment but once you

Why the fuck would this be a slideshow. Fuck off.

I definitely get it. And also pretty much roll my eyes at the hoops they have to go through to justify their pre-existing ip bullshit at this point.
