It’s an incestuous industry. They talk about diversity in publishing all the time, but they really just mean people with master’s in English of different races. If they wanted a truly diverse point of view you’d try to find voices that aren’t just from the academic background, because lord does it get repetitive.

It’s definitely hard, I mean the dude was basically like a real life muppet, and you see him and it’s like auggh. Plus most of his comedy has to do with dating.

I loved Hulk. I’m still an apologist for it but I haven’t watched in whole since I saw it in theaters. I still think it works, but I’m someone who finds the action parts of action movies mostly boring so what I want is not necessarily what most people want.

It’s just an argument that if your only metric is financial success you can do quite well in sports media by not liking or particularly paying attention to sports. 

Colin Cowherd doesn’t really watch any sports (for real!) and his show’s been on for years.
