I’m sure they’re both devastated.
I’m sure they’re both devastated.
Go see Don’t Think Twice! It’s a great movie.
31 and counting...of course my wife’s read 72 so.....not that impressive in my house.
Hot take bro. I give you a 2.0 on the Cowherd scale.
I guess that’s fair but in my opinion it would be more likely it came from a live source.
It’s only 95 light years away, though. It wouldn’t take that long for the signal to get to us.
Just means “saying anything a conservative person doesn’t want to hear.”
This makes starkly clear how old I am, because my only soundtrack was the fuzzy noises VCR’s made when VHS tapes were done playing.
If by “done” you mean you will be commenting on any story about Amy Schumer in the future telling everyone how you are done with her, sure, you’re done.
“I mean, I’m not particularly attracted to weak-armed bloggers who look like they’ve never exercised or eaten a vegetable, but you don’t hear me screaming about it.”
I’m definitely the guy who bounces off the ship.
I’d just squander it.
You’re dead wrong. Show me the rule that states that.
I mean since you’re a doctor those concerns are completely relevant.
I would say that they mostly advocate laisez-faire government that was pretty much proven to not work for average people 130 years ago. So the idea that now’s the time to try it again is a little bit silly. Capitalism is good. But there should be regulation too, otherwise people take advantage.
He had a 2.63 era with the Cubs in 2004and 3.32 era with the Cubs in 2005. Saves are a junk stat. He pitched fine.
Depending on the other options yeah, I certainly wouldn’t hold out for an “established closer,” because that idea is patently ridiculous. A “closer” is just a reliever you use in the 9th in current baseball. If Latroy Hawkins was my best reliever I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use him as my closer.
2 Seasons as a reliever isn’t exactly enough of a sample size to suggest it’s something inherent in his nature.
The particular point of calling him Drumpf was pointing out his hypocrisy in criticizing Jon Stewart for changing his last name.
Latroy Hawkins had one bad year as a closer with the Twins and other stints as a closer (with the Cubs and Rockies) went more or less fine for him. Just because something feels true doesn’t make it true.
