I agree with your first statement. I feel that Origins certainly has a much better story than Asylum/City (although both were very well done themselves). Origins just felt more... real? Like, I felt as if I were interacting with a movie in some odd way.

A little hand-holding never hurt anyone. This is not a game that's big on walking players through the ropes. The introductory sequence handles the basics pretty well - click to attack, hold to block, that sort of thing. Once my free 1 month runs out I'm not renewing, yeah. I mean, it's fun and all (in its own little ways), but I cannot in my own mind justify paying a $15 sub for such a game. I'll probably end up waiting for it to go f2p as well. And let's be honest here, the sub is not gonna last.
