The first Dead Space game is pretty damn good in regards to "nope" moments such as the one you described. The second one? Ehhhh, yeah - somewhat. The third one though had some freaky aspects to it, and maybe a few parts where you felt real terror. Other than that though the third was mostly an action game, imo.

Yeah, I'll certainly be waiting for a price drop as well before I consider purchasing it.

This service is mainly meant for the diehards who consistently level alts to reach endgame content. This saves them from buying the previous expansions, plus WoD, plus the toon transfer in order to get another free 90 (that comes with every WoD expac). This is literally stated in the article:
